"Humble Asian eatery/fastfood vibe. The lobster roll ain't worth it (small, doughey bun, a tad sweet for me, super skinny fries). The softshell crab had a grainy breading which I didn't like (like a coarse semolina which I let the cashier know about). There's a small condiment station where you can serve yrself (ketchup, hot sauce, water) ... Not enough selection for soft drinks, fresh juices, I can see why the place isn't that busy!!!"
"A Serendipitous Voyage to Culinary Delight at The Drunken Boat As fate would have it, I found myself ensnared by a name that promised an adventure - The Drunken Boat. With no prior knowledge or expectations, I stepped through its doors and was greeted not by the raucous of sailors, but by a wave of warm hospitality that washed over me as naturally as the tide. The interior was a treasure chest of immaculacy, and the front of house staff, a beacon of welcoming spirit, set the tone for what was to be a remarkable gastronomic journey. With the menu unfurled before me like a map to buried treasure, I was astounded by the cornucopia of seafood offerings that lay in wait. The decision-making process was akin to choosing the perfect prom ensemble - a blend of excitement and overwhelming choice. Every dish beckoned with the siren's call, but after a voyage of contemplation that spanned a good half hour, my compass pointed to a pairing as unique as it was satisfying: fries and pulled beef. Uncharted territory for my palate, this combination promised a new horizon of flavor. And oh, did it deliver. The dish arrived as if borne on the swift currents of service excellence - piping hot, promptly served, and plated with care. The pulled beef was a maelstrom of tender, savory perfection, and the fries? Golden anchors that held their own in this sea of taste. To complement this feast, a passionfruit margarita that was not merely a drink, but a voyage in itself - a concoction so sublime that it set a new standard against which all future margaritas will be judged. In an era where I've plied the waters of countless eateries, my discerning palate shaped by years within the restaurant industry's own galleys, I do not bestow praise lightly. Yet The Drunken Boat deserves every laurel for providing not just a meal, but an experience that sails beyond the mere satisfaction of hunger. To the crew of this fine establishment, I say, "Bravo!" Your collective efforts have crafted not just a meal, but a memory that will linger far longer than the last echoes of a sea shanty into the night. Keep charting this course of exceptional service and culinary excellence. In gratitude and with the highest recommendation, A Satisfied Voyager Pasha Marie"
"I loved the variety of things to try from lobster rolls, to even pho! The pho is actually very tasty and flavorful without being too oily. The lobster roll was not bad and the tator tots are perfection! I also got a frozen mangonada that’s satisfied my sweet tooth. They also serve beer too! The service was welcoming and even a BOH staff came up to us and asked if everything was okay! The interior design of the restaurant is interesting but i gusss its goes with the drunken boat theme. Overall it was good and I would recommend and come again!"
"Awesome service and delicious seafood! Wasn’t expecting one of the best mango teas I’ve had in a while to come from here, but they make it fresh and I highly recommend ordering one. The lobster roll was so buttery and had huge chunks of lobster. The soft shell crab was also incredible. My favorite was the crab and shrimp. The sauce is so buttery, garlicky and has a slight kick. Definitely will be back for more!"
"I got the Lobster roll during the soft opening 10-22-23. It had a huge lobster claw on top of the other lobster meat, the bread was chewy with a nice toasted texture. There as chopped celery and a nice lemon butter mayonnaise sauce."
