"Place is kinda sad. See through glass inside and can just watch the employees just stand around. Not a bad thing when not busy but no privacy for them. Had the chicken gryo and came with honey mustard instead of white sauce. Was willing to pay for it but they were nice enough to give it to me. Service was 4/5 but food was mid at best. $17 for the chicken gryo combo too expensive and was still hungry when left. Not a fan of Pepsi either so another negative in my book. I'll stick with Beef shack."
"Food is disgusting. First I ordered no onion or tomato, and it came with onion. Not the biggest of deals. I picked them off. The meat was barely warm, tasted like it was a gyro kit from Walmart, and had an off taste. So terrible I couldn’t eat it. I got the Greek fries to go with it. Saturated in lemon juice, so much so they were soggy. Too sour to eat. The only thing that was satisfactory was the beverage dispenser. I got vanilla Dr Pepper and it was crisp and properly carbonated. The staff was nice and the atmosphere was comfortable. Just the most terrible gyro I’ve ever had."
"Overpriced for what it is. The tzatziki sauce was a little flavorless but there's no shortage. Healthy size gyro for the mid tier"
"Smelled the grill all the way from the parking lot of the Salvation Army as I was leaving and decided to stop in to see if I could grab a snack. Was happy to see that they have a mini gyros option that comes on a smaller pita as I had big dinner plans for later. The dining room was really clean and there is lots of seating available. I also liked some of the more unique menu options they had compared to other gyro/beef spots. The staff was very friendly with me and all of the other customers they interacted with. The 4 stars is only because the gyro wasn't really as good as others in my opinion. Not sure how to explain it but the meat just seemed to be seasoned differently than what I am used to and look for in a gyro. I could see how others might actually prefer Skippy's but it just didn't do it for me. I'd probably stop in to Skippy's again but would want to try other things."
"The place is just so overpriced for what you get. Their fries are really good. Their everything else is a complete ripoff. I ordered a mini beef and a regular beef. The regular beef had almost the same exact amount of beef as the mini. The maxwell polish is a tiny thing on a hotdog bun that costs 2x more than it should. I’ve tried these places for years and I’m just tired of getting ripped off. Their fries are their only redeeming factor."
