"I had a great experience with painted auto body parts/ Chicago auto body parts. I bought my bumper through them and had them paint in all in one step. Very convenient and the paint came out great. I definitely recommend them. I got a bmw bumper and it came out good. They were very nice to me in person as well, helped me right away through the door when I went for pickup. Did a good job wrapping on pickup as well."
"I'll have to update the review once I get resolution, but first off all I ordered was a mirror. I think the site did a good job letting me know it'd be roughly two weeks for me to get the painted part (they are actually a local shop about 10 miles away). So shipping actually came a little quicker than expected. I did email them asking if I could pick up the part and avoid shipping. I never got a reply back (it's been several days). The actual part seems fine, the paint matched (we provided proper code...checked, double checked, and then triple checked), but the paint job is poor. There's a run of paint right at the top, overspray all around the black housing, the painter left the tape on the housing (come on, clean up the final product). I requested a partial refund to help make it fair, as we will have the mirror painted properly locally. We'll see how the resolution goes...I just emailed them this morning 12/23/2023 Update: they offered a $30 refund, then invited me to drive it down to them and have it repainted after I declined the offer. I offered to ship it back at their expense or a partial refund (the cost of the paint job they charged me). The CS rep seemed to want to go back and forth. I don't have time for that. Ultimately, I've chosen to dispute the charges...I cannot believe the headache in trying to get a resolution. Who has this kind of time? Painted Auto Body -- Fix your QA, adjust how quickly you provide satisfaction to your customers, and your business will improve. I guarantee it."
"Terrible communication, bad follow through with customer service. They should have called with questions regarding paint code information but instead just painted the fender with their color choice and sent it out 10 weeks later. Fender was also dented upon arrival. They stopped responding to my emails. I don’t recommend this company and will not endorse for future contracted work. Thank goodness for Visa fair market arbitrators. “federal standard Forest service green” not forest Green. They should have done the right thing and offered to repaint but instead chose to ignore and loose another customer for poor business practices. For information refer to Better Business Bureau reviews and open business claims when searching for reputable businesses."
"I strongly suggest you do not order from this company online and have the painted parts shipped. It took almost twice as long to get the part than what was stated online. I ordered a hood from this company that was supposed to be painted to the paint code that I provided. Every time I reached out to find out when my hood would ship the response I got for over a week was the hood was being painted and would ship in the next day or two. It took 10 days after that to get a tracking number. The part was delivered in the middle of the day to my house. I didn't sign for it or could inspect it. The box was pretty beat up when I inspected it that night but didn't see any damage. When I went to install it under the foam corner bumpers was damage on both rear corners. I had to install the hood so my wife could drive the car. Once installed I could see how horrible the paint mismatch was. I sent them pictures and the paint code as they requested. After I sent this information I haven't had a response in over a month. I have emailed them many times and never get a response. I found a number for them on the BBB website and when you call they can't help you, you have to email the claims department. When I told them I don't get a response from emails to the claims department I was told "I am just a salesman." This has to be the worst company I have ever dealt with. I guess they figure if they ignore you eventually you will go away. I have filed a claim with the BBB and am filing a claim with the AG office as well. Look at the pictures, paint isn't close to the right color. Don't waste your hard earned money buying from this scamming company!"
"PLEASE BE AWARE! After placing my order I waited 20+ days and began asking questions about when I should be expecting my Bumper. For the next 3+ weeks I was told that it's painted and drying. They where lying in my face. After almost 2 months of wailing I sent a frustrating email, again asking for what is going on and why I still don't have a tracking number. I received a reply saying that they did not had the item in stock but now it's for sure in stock and getting painted. Now almost 2 months went by .At this point I was very frustrated with them and asked for a compensation for Waiting, at first I was offered $100, I replied that it only be fair if I don't get charged for painting at this point. But next day they made a decision to give me $150. When I asked that It would only be fair if I'm not to be charged for painting, I wasn't realizing that I'll get a bumper that is completely different color. That is with the sapmle that I send over to them (See pictures) I gave them on option to fix it at their shop or refund $200 so I can have it repainted here at my local Professional Body Shop. But instead of acknowledging the screw up they said we all ready give you $150 here is $85 more and it's your problem. Quote from customer service (The world is not perfect you know) guys I encourage you to be smart, and stay away from this place! It's not worth dealing with this company, I promise you that. At the end you'll lose more money and have more gray hair. PLEASE STAY AWAY!"
