"My granddaughter is making her 1st Holy Communion and we where there to get her dress. It was wonderful to be able to get everything, including her shoes and assesories all in the one store."
"luxe department store, a step up from target. lovely interior, soft flattering lighting, rich quiet look. nice selection of fancy schmancy brands. still seeking that sandalwood fragrance. attentive and personal service from the sales staff, a nice change from other department stores."
"My absolute favorite store! Everyone is very helpful! Love the atmosphere! It's a beautiful store and lots of seats. They play such nice music also"
"Personal service is their specialty! Knowledgeable friendly sales staff in every department we have been through over many visits. The credit card has no fees, no APR ever!! Free gift wrapping, free ship to anyone in the continental USA. Amazing experience every time. Someone is always playing a grand piano near the escalator?! Free tailoring with suit purchase!! We love this place. Stop in for an old school personal experience that will have you coming back in for yourself and for gifts."
"This is my first experience with Von Maur. It reminds me of Marshall Field's back when I was a kid. My parents would go to Field's when they needed quality over price. In the men's department, I found a couple of items in my price range and ascetic. I was impressed by the fitting rooms. There was a three-way mirror and two wingback chairs. The fitting rooms were immaculate, roomy, and well maintained. There were no discarded clothes, hangers, or pins. I guess I have been experiencing retailers the visit their fitting once a day (at the closing), this was really appreciated, and I mentioned it to their staff. I also noticed vom Maur dedicated floor space to non-merchandise; there was a small Picasso Sculpture (Daily Plaza), an antique horse betting wheel, and other antiques. Prices were competitive with Macy's. They did have a "Snack Bar" that was more kitchen supplies and sundrey items."
