"My daughter took her car to this place, spent a thousand dollars for the repairs. Her check engine light was not on, now it is. They told her to bring it in yesterday 2/21 and neither Paul nor the other guy was at work and now they are telling her it's a check in fee of one hundred dollars which they never mentioned. Her check engine light wasn't on until they touched it and now want her to pay one hundred dollars to check in. I don't trust places or people like this"

"The problem with this place is they over book themselves and only have 1 or 2 technicians on the weekends. Plus they are starting to be just as expensive as the dealer. I really used to like this place always courteous helpful and employees would try their hardest to go above and beyond. Now the Sunday/Saturday crew might as well close because they are useless! They probably will not be around for long especially with so much competition coming to the area, and employees suggesting to go elsewhere as an earlier reviewer posted."
"This place has gone downhill, since the old crew left their customer service is mediocre. Went this morning to get air check on my tires since I purchased them from here. The guy tells me the air hose is broken since too many customers ran over it in the past. This was a complete lie; he was just being lazy! The air hose is kept in bay one when you go, they pull it out and fill it for you! It is never left outside Don't lie to your customers that have been customers for years just because you are lazy and don't want to do your job!!! If a customer purchase tires and service from your store dont tell them to go to WALMART or elsewhere, no one told me to go to walmart when i did the purchase now did they??? Do your JOB! It will be the last time i purchase something there, rather go to Bell or Walmart as the employee I delt with this morning suggested"
"I called Firestone in romeoville on Monday 11/20, and spoke to Andrew. I told him my check engine light was on, and I needed them to diagnose the issue and then fix it, on Wednesday 11/22. He said that should be no problem, I should drop it off in the morning and they’ll take care of it. I asked, “What are the chances that you can have it fixed same day?” He said “there is a 99% chance our technician will get it back to you Wednesday evening.” I said perfect! I asked if I should make an appointment, just in case they get busy, being the holiday week and all. Andrew said no, as long as I drop my car off in the morning it will be fine, we don’t have many appointments for Wednesday the 22nd, and that he would be here Wednesday morning to take care of me, and he’ll remember my call. I come in Wednesday morning at 8:30, and say I’m here to drop off my Sonata with the engine light, and Andrew looks at me with worried face, and asked if I had an appointment? I said I do not have an appointment, I spoke to you on the phone on Monday and you said I could drop it off in the morning. He said “Well we’re booked all day now, is it okay if we get the car back to you Friday evening?” I said “no, it’s not okay. You told me on the phone there was a 99% chance you can get it back to me the same day I drop it off.” Andrew said he never spoke to me on the phone, and he would never tell anyone this. I don’t appreciate the poor customer service, being lied to and being let on. This will be my last attempt trying to get service done with this company."
