"Horrible location I will NEVER shop here again!! Staff not friendly at all and is extremely rude!!! I work too hard to give my money to such a rude establishment. They argue back with you and talk to you like a kid. I suggest you all go to the Orland Park location if you just must go to a Clothes Mentor. I’d rather burn my stuff before I sell to them!! Need negative stars not even the one!!"

"Wish I could give them no stars. Don’t waste your money here. Clerks were arguing with me about how they priced a stained Gucci purse for 100 dollars MORE than the website.. are you kidding me??? Edit: owner responded.. not a great response when you can buy a brand new Gucci purse (without the stains) on the website for $1200, when at clothes mentor (with condition and stains) is listed for $1300. Make it make sense. As someone who formerly managed a Plato’s Closet and CM in a different state, I understand that not only the employee had to price it, but the manager, the general manager, and the OWNER have to agree to the pricing.. You talk about “how much people are willing to pay” when you can go straight to the brand itself and buy it cheaper. If you go on the CM website they priced the same purse in a different location with less conditional wear for 600 dollars cheaper. When you buy secondhand, you expect it to be a better price. Don’t waste your time/money here if management can’t price SECONDHAND correctly."

"During my first encounter, I was purchasing 2 items. A pair of shoes and a tote bag. Prior to finalizing the purchase I made sure both items were returnable, if need be. I was ensured that they were. When I was paying for the items, they entered the wrong amount of cash I had given them in and took a long time to correct it. I went back today to try and return a pair of shoes, which I was told was returnable and they denied my return saying that they never said that. If they would have told me intially, I would not have purchased the items. Very frustrating! They could’ve apologized for any miscommunication or wrong information given, but simply stated the return policy and dismissed me. They are not personable which is very disheartening. Update: I just returned home and tried to remove the labels from the insides of the shoes. They placed an adhesive sticker on suede. The sticker is not coming off and the pieces that have, have completely ripped off the suede lining."
