Reviews
"Always a positive experience. Really nice atmosphere. Authentic. My wife and I go often. You can request your tacos and burritos to be made vegetarian. I am told there is no lard in the refried beans."
"Food was very bland, I got a steak burrito dinner and it wasn't what I expected. By all means this place is not bad, friendly staff and inviting atmosphere."
"I wanted to grab lunch this week and saw this new branding and really good reviews so decided to try. I got a medium pizza and some tacos, I was starving. Friendly service, generous portions on the pizza and the inside of the shrimp taco I will say was edible. But that’s where this ends. The food I had was simply awful. The pizza was barely edible, the crust had the consistency and flavor of frozen, the sauce tasted canned and was overwhelmed with Italian seasoning likely to add “flavor”. Covered with that thick layer of commercial cheese. Nothing of quality. Just take pizza off your menu if that’s what you’re going to put out honestly. The worst pizza I’ve ever had including frozen pizzas, and first time in my life I threw pizza out instead of putting in the fridge for leftovers. The shrimp taco flavor wasn’t terrible, but the outside was almost like they dipped it in oil and it made the eating very unpleasant. But by far the worst was the quesabirria tacos, which were simply steak tacos but with pulled meat instead of steak placed inside. No sauce, no consume, even mixed in the meat, and no cheese. No effort. There’s no way in heck I would ever let that leave my kitchen and call that a quesabirria taco. The worst part is, even with salsa I barely was able to swallow one of these, and honestly almost choked trying to eat it. These were the driest food I’ve ever eaten in my life. I was pissed that someone would be proud to serve a customer this food. On top of that I paid $35 for lunch. I won’t ever complain about price if the food was worth it. This wasn’t. I don’t mean to trash any business but when I get food like that I have to leave a review, because I would not hand that food out my door to anyone I respect. It’s pretty obvious to me you need to ditch the Mexican/Italian concept and pick one thing and try to make it good. And I really question people’s taste with this place having a 4.7 rating. That’s what I get for taking a break from my usual Peppos lunch run."
"They had delicious food. I liked their tacos, especially fish tacos. My mom said the chef cooks better than she does."
"First time there tacos were really good. The chilaquiles were also good. Highly recommend."
