"I would give them 0 stars if it existed Me and my best friend walked in here on a Saturday around brunch- they were busy but not drowning in service there was two tables open in the front by the window a two top and a four top- a staff member greeted and gestured to the general area to take a seat- since he did not specify we decided to take the four top by the window away from other tables. I honestly was confused as to who our server was there was like 4 different people trying to take our order in short time span. The staff seemed unknowledgeable about the menu because anytime I asked a question they looked extremely confused. We needed some time to look at the menu but none of the servers came back around and we had to call over a server. The food was absolutely unimpressive and not worth the price. I could honestly do better in my own kitchen. I ordered the pan potato’s and the chicken curry salad sandwich. The potatoes looked sad it was four tiny round tomatoes sliced in half place on a plate and drenched in mustard. The presentation was absolutely horrible and not worth the price point. The sandwich had a hair in it as well(see picture attached) when I told the waitress she just said “oh” didn’t apologize or offer to fix it. I had to ask her to comp it and thankfully she did. Not to mention before that she made us move and split the four top- the way she approached the situation was passive aggressive and uncaring and she didn’t even help us move the table. As someone who works in the hospitality industry this was extremely frustrating to deal with such poor service. Not to mention she gave us another tables check when we wanted to pay- I didn’t even notice until after we left and I was looking at the receipt. I DO NOT recommend this place."

"This place is an absolute hidden gem. I’ve traveled all over the US and eaten so many meals in all types of restaurants, and this one still remains at the top of my list. The homemade bread is exceptional, and the pastries are incredible as well (pictured is my friend being rendered speechless after taking the first bite of the candied orange cinnamon roll). Keep doing what you’re doing y’all, 10/10 no notes."

"We didn’t eat. We just had shakes with liquor in them. They were small cups, lightly spiked but very tasty. This place was very homey and the staff were nice. The staff was so good I thought our waitress was the owner and really she was just a new employee. Thats a good thing!"

"This place is scrumptious! We stumbled across this place and ordered the turkey sandwich on their homemade pumpernickel. The turkey was shaved perfectly thin. We also got the triple sampler of curry chicken salad, arugula salad, and a biscuit. The arugula salad could’ve have had more dressing, but the chicken salad was sweet and creamy and the biscuit was so fluffy. A pleasant discovery overall!"

"The food and coffee are both pretty decent here. The service is friendly and the atmosphere is a nice relaxing place to talk or read. There is some local art on the wall and I always enjoy seeing that too. Just know that the food portions are on the small side. So if you want coffee and a snack you are probably in luck but if you want a heavier meal then maybe get that somewhere else and then check this place out for just a coffee. I had an oatmilk latte. It was yummy with definite bright acidic notes at the end of it."
