"The guy over here, Gavin, is honestly superb at his job. I had a flat tire 30 minutes before close on a Sunday. Guy tells me to bring it in, and he'll stay late to fix it! After sitting down in the lobby for already almost an hour now. He's helped 4 customers with outstanding customer service. Breaking down all the tests, what to look for in the future, timeliness of upcoming things to look out for, and so forth. Giving them printed out sheets of it. Just awesome job overall."

"I was very nervous to bring in my car, being a female who knows little to nothing about cars i am used to being lied to and scammed. The second I walked in Gary made me feel so comfortable. I told him I was nervous and he went through pricing step by step. Applied a coupon without me even asking and I never for a moment felt out of place or belittled. He called me with updates the entire day. Once I got their to pick up my car, he showed me my broken parts and taught me things about my car. He and another gentleman treated me with so much respect and told me how they will always treat every single person the same despite knowledge and gender and that was so new and refreshing to me. Everyone should give them their business, but especially women who are nervous or scared of the auto industry. Gary single handedly made my very stressful day so safe and comfortable. "I had the unfortunate task of realizing I had blown a tire on my RV in July 2023 on the I-90 freeway. Once I realized what had happened I began a search for a tire shop that could get me back on the road. It was a Sunday, so most shops were not open. I called several shops and stopped by 5 of them, with no luck. I happened to be driving by the Firestone in St. Charles, IL and notices two things; 1. They were open, 2. Their entrance bays were very high, meaning I could get my RV inside to possibly have the needed work done. I was immediately greeted by the floor manager, Gavin, who wasn't sure they could locate the tire I needed and get it installed. But right away his attitude made me feel that they would do everything possible to help out. Fortunately for me, the service manager, Gary, had stopped by to check on a new tech and he took over the situation. It was obvious that he faced all challenges with optimism, and he was right; they could do the job. The tire I blew was in stock and they immediately went to work. In 30 minutes I was back on the road and a very happy camper. Stories like these must be told because it's why people make the difference when it comes to customers in need, like me. If they operate like that for me, how professionally are they in the daily work they do in their shop. I was blown away and had to tell this story so you understand how top notch this Firestone Auto Care shop is. "I choose this please because of its reviews but they don’t deserve it. I went there for alignment and wheel balance. I dropped off my car in the morning and after a couple of hours they called me saying one of the wheel studs was cross threaded so they couldn't remove lug nut. I didn’t ask why or how and just said ok. When I went to pick it up, the guy said they balanced 3 tires but not the one that had a cross threaded wheel stud. And he said whoever did the brake job did that. That was a red flag. I do all the work on my cars and I can’t cross thread the stud because I don’t use an air gun. I hand tighten the lug nuts all the way in and then use a wrench. When I came home, I checked it and yes it was cross threaded and I can’t remove the lug nut. I had to break the stud to remove the wheel. Once I removed the wheel, I found out that the wheel was at the rear. How I know is I marked the wheels and locations. Later I decided to remove all the wheels. Here is another problem, lug nuts are too tight. They didn’t torqued them as specs. It was very very hard to take off the lug nuts with the BREAKER BAR even though I am a heavy person. Here is another issue, one of the wheels doesn’t have balance weight, two of them have old weights and the last one has new weights. So they didn’t even balance all the wheels. I can’t believe such a big company did a sloppy job and they were not honest. I will never go to this place again."
