"Staff was not bad but there was just nothing there. The underwear section is abysmal, it just not a store worth going to. Any other torrid is better. Once again, the staff was staffing and left me alone and were nice and it was a pleasant experience in the social arena…..but the product was so far below par."

"I had a terrible experience at this Torrid location. I stopped in on a Sunday afternoon and the store was not busy at all. There were more employees up at the counter than were in the store. No one said hello to me. I shopped around for a good 30 minutes before taking some items to the fitting room. I looked around the store and beside the one employee that was helping someone check out, there was no one around. I had heard an employee say to another customer that she can take whichever fitting room was open. So I did just that after waiting around for a few minutes for an employees help. I was in the fitting room for 10 minutes and then I grabbed the item I was going to purchase and left the fitting room. I found the return rack and then placed the items I did not want to buy on the rack. I met up with the friend I was shopping with and they walked around the store with me to look at some items I was curious about and at this time no employee checked in on me. And I walked past several. Even the girl at the counter was not pleasant to me. Don’t waste your time at this store."

"I had to pick up an order here today day and everybody knows that when you pick up an order they give you 10% off if you buy other items that same day. Well, to my disappointment Kaylee was very rude and would not honor the extra 10% off that clearly states "combinable with other offers" right under the barcode. Kaylee stated that Mari who checked me out last time I did a pick up "was just being nice honoring the 10% with other discounts in the store. Clearly Kaylee doesn't know what she's talking about and needs a refresher on what her job entails. On top of that she was rude and lacked patience with my mom who was opening a line of credit. Usually or with my experience working in retail we were happy to have customers open up credit with the us, but not Kaylee. I was ready to tell my mom let's just leave, but she loved the fit of the jeans so much that I didn't say anything. To the manager of this location- train your employees to know what's going on with promotions etc, but most importantly, teach them to leave their rudeness at the door. That means before they walk in NOT when they're leaving."

"Love the employees at this store. The manager was previously in Gurnee and I always liked her there too. I like that this store is a bit larger and not as cramped as a lot of Torrid locations. They had a great selection of products in store. I called ahead because I needed to exchange a pair of pants and wanted to make sure they had them. They set them aside when I came in and the exchange was super easy. I even bought more while I was there, which I told myself I wasn’t going to do! That extra discount on clearance got me! Plus I found a great lightweight but warm jacket for winter that fit great and I felt it looked good on me too!"
