"My favorite location. The manager is such a jewel. Every time I enter, she greets you like family. Great shopping experience."

"I love torrid. And I love this location due to the stock they carry. However, this is my 3rd time having to drive back to torrid because this location forgets to take off security tags. I don't live close to a torrid and I'm sick of having to go back. You should know to check for them. I'm a customer. Not an employee. It's not my job to find them."

"I usually never had a problem with clothing I purchased from Torrid. I purchased a dress for a wedding I was going to attend on 6/17/2023. When I went to iron the dress I discovered a whole in the dress big enough for me to stick my middle finger in. While out of town I was fortunate to have 2 other Torrid to try and return the dress to but they did have what I needed. My ony complaint is that I feel that dress should have been inspected prior to purchase."

"Best Torrid in the area. I drive out of my way to go to this location over McHenry after several bad experiences with the store manager there. The store manager at this location in Gurnee is SO nice and so are all the other staff members!!! I wish I lived closer to this one, but it’s worth the drive and I have never had a bad experience here. I’ve loved Torrid clothes for years and even though they can be a tad bit overpriced in my opinion, the nice thing is there are always sales going on, and the fit is always just right too. I rarely have to question which size to get because their stuff is pretty consistent (aside from the swimwear which I typically size up with). I’m a big fan of Torrid and a big fan of the store and am always recommending this location to others!!"
