"Location: At Concourse C, between Gate C24 and C25. To reach Concourse C, use underground tunnel that joins Concourse C with B. Find a set of escalators between Gates B8 and B9. Just go down the escalators, walk through tunnel, and up the next set of escalators and you will be in Concourse C. Berghoff Restaurant at Chicago O'Hare International Airport offers an authentic German cuisine right in the heart of the bustling airport. The portion sizes are indeed generous, ensuring that travelers get ready for their journey ahead. I did find the Café au lait to be a bit lacking in comparison to the authentic NOLA style. The staff didn’t let me sit on the table which is located near bar since I am not buying any drink. Little disappointed, but overall good."
"One of the better airport options available. Friendly staff, generous portions, and nice view by the window. Tried the “Cuban sandwich” (ham & pulled pork), and it was LOADED with meat. It was a little dry because there’s nothing else in the sandwich other than cheese, but the flavour was still good. Price is actually very reasonable for the amount of food you’re getting. If definitely come back if I’m in Concourse C."
"Wow! The service was fast, fun and friendly. The food Cuban Sandwich, fries and pickle) was hot, delicious (meat cut right in front of me), and large portion size. The atmosphere was alive and patrons we happily eating and chatting. Good work! Thank you for enjoying your job so much. You made my layover an enjoyable experience."
"An unassuming German Bar and Deli with great meat sandwiches. The veggie pizza also seemed to be a hit! You’ll be sad if you don’t stop by here if you’re stuck in the C concourse at terminal 1. The pub had a nice cozy bar feel and streams sports games. We had the corned beef on rye and the pulled pork sandwich."
"I went for a Cuban sandwich and fries but guess what?! No fries…. Bummer. Companies should put signs up when their “fryer is down”. The Cuban was very good and flavorful. Nice melted cheese and thick cuts of meet. The reason for the low stars is there was a hair on my peppers. Now I know it’s not mine because I shaved my head bald yesterday."
