"Wow - what a fantastic experience this Valentine’s Day! BEST Alfredo we’ve ever had, and the steak/fish/broccoli were cooked to perfection. Excellent service also. Can’t wait to try this place again!"
"First, always make a reservation, because there is absolutely nowhere to wait for a table. The room is very small and intimate, although the tables are very close to each other. The food is great. Never been disappointed. I usually order the Chicken Marsala and my wife the Chicken Picatta. The soup, minestrone, or the side salad that accompany the entrees are also excellent. The only problem we encountered this last visit was that we felt very rushed so they could turn the table. There were a couple of open tables,as we eat pretty early, so I don't see what the rush was by our waitress, who I think is also one of the owners."
"We were grateful for a place to grab a real meal later last night. Our server, Kyle, deserves special mention because he took care of us with a big smile and kindness. He was detail oriented, timely, and patient with us talking about the menu. Thanks Kyle! Overall the food was tasty. The bread, olive oil and cheese is always a nice start. The shrimp parmigiana was something new. Unfortunately the breading was falling off the shrimp and the tails were hidden underneath. I would definitely prefer the tails to be visible especially on breaded shrimp. But the minestrone, clam linguine, and the vodka sauce were delicious. The tiramisu was also great especially because it didn't have a lot of sugar added (right up my alley). Atmosphere is 3.5 and probably would of been a 5 if they weren't taking the Christmas decorations down around us the whole meal. We didn't necessarily care but it wasn't super professional and somewhat noisy. Would still go back for another meal! Thanks!"
"Service was excellent. Matt was super friendly and took real good care of us. Food was great too. But did not get the 5 star feeling that some other Italian places around here can provide. They have good cocktail options and they make it stiff. Place is very small and so gets very crowded and very noisy. Overall, we have visited multiple times and have been very satisfied. It's a great weekday evening Italian fix. Would recommend."
"My partner and I decided to try this place because it was close to the theater. We're glad we did! While it seemed that the dining room wasn't quite big enough for the crowd they were drawing on a Saturday evening, I think that speaks positively of the menu. Both of our dishes were served in a timely manner, at an appropriate temperature, and in generous portions. I enjoyed my lasagna, but my partner said that the chicken spittini he ordered, while good, was a little on the bland side. All in all, we enjoyed our experience at Gianni's and will most likely return."
