"Delicious Jewish deli offering some of the better deli food that I have had. My favorite thing that I had was ironically the pickle. Don't get me wrong the food was absolutely delicious from the matzah ball to all of the sandwiches. But there is something about a home made pickle that just tasted delicious, and thankfully you get one with every sandwich. The sandwich I had was one that they are known for called a "sloppy Paul" which is basically a Reuben that can use corned beef or pastrami or if you're me, ask for both. Everything just came together so well with the flavors of the meats, dressing, cheese, sauerkraut and the bread. The matzah ball soup was as filling as it was spreading its magical healing powers. It was huge filling up over half of the bowl. Nice and fluffy and warming all the same. They have two ways you can get sandwiches here, half-stuffed or overstuffed. Overstuffed means extra meat, which is never a bad thing. Along with everything they offer, they were especially excited to tell us about their latkes which are supposed to be really good (next time for sure). They also have a deli attached to the restaurant which looks absolutely delicious but the food fills you up quickly. If you're ever near Lisle, check it out"

"The sandwiches here are Huge! I ordered the sloppy Paul. It was delicious . I could only eat half of the sandwich. I recommend taking the ride here. Worth the drive and more. They also carry seasonal deserts. Check it out, you will Not regret it."
"We had an amazing meal here at Schmaltz! I brought my entire family here - they have a huge party room that was able to accommodate all 30 of us! The food was incredible and the service was superb. The menu is extensive and has yummy options for all dietary restrictions and preferences, like vegetarian, vegan, and tons of carnivore options! We topped off our delicious, hefty-portioned meals with delicious cheesecake and carrot cake. The ambiance is also fantastic, the music selection is on point, and we loved the modern-industrial atmosphere. We would recommend this establishment to anyone - couples, families, friends, and large get togethers!"
"Had an absolutely delicious pastrami sandwich. Matzo ball soup was on point, very flavorful. Got some bagels to go and those are perfect as well. Perfectly chewy and very well seasoned. Not sure if it was just the timing I came in but the A/C was on incredibly high to the point where my food was getting cold quick. Overall I highly recommend and I am looking forward to trying again!"
