Breakfast and Burgers

"Definitely the best place for breakfast in the 63123 zip code....and beyond. I tried the burger a few years ago and have never ordered one since, But, it appears they have completely changed the burgers so no comment there. I do question the pancakes. I only ate them once and they tasted like angel food cake to me, which is nasty with maple syrup. Huge disappointment there. Overall a great place to visit. Highly recommended"

"We were seated quickly and our food came out fast. They have everyone’s favorites and unique offerings too. My husband got the bagel and steak sandwich and really enjoyed it. The servers were very friendly and made sure everyone’s coffee cup kept full. I would definitely recommend this restaurant if you are looking for a lowkey breakfast in the area."

"The slinger is amazing and a huge portion to keep you full all day. The pineapple burger was terrific as well. The star of both dishes is the beef patty. The meat tastes good quality and fresh. We really enjoyed the food. The coffee is strong and bitter, but palatable. The restaurant was clean but very cold and heated by a propane tank with a hot lamp attached. My only issue was that I ordered wheat toast and got white toast. That alone would not be a reason to deduct a star, however the toast I received was taken off the table behind us where the patrons were getting up to leave. She repurposed someone else’s order of white toast that had been sitting on their table. That’s unsanitary."

"I was really craving some breakfast after an evening in the ER. In fact, after ten hours in which my only sustenance came from a vending machine, I had my hopes up for that perfect diner breakfast. I salivated over the menu in the ER waiting room. Walked in knowing exactly what I wanted. The person waiting tables was very kind. I was seated in the second, smaller room, with only one other party, and after the crowds all night, I was so glad. I ordered the Hungry Man Breakfast--two eggs (I got over medium), sausage or bacon (I opted for bacon), hashbrowns, and a half order of biscuits and gravy. But when it came, I was disappointed. The hashbrowns were half undercooked and half burnt, and dreadfully unseasoned. The bacon was a tangle. The eggs were just...plain. They needed more oil and more salt and pepper. All three of the above items had an odd taste which I suspect comes from a griddle that needs cleaning. The biscuit was cold, though the gravy was nice. I don't think I'll return."

"I was impressed with everything here. The service was phenomenal, food was extremely tasty and satisfying, dessert was just as good, and the price was just jaw dropping. The service was outstanding, thanks Karen. We will be going back."
