"Barones of Glen Ellyn has consistently produced exceptional, delicious pizza that is definitely a rise above the majority of Italian restaurant pizzerias in the greater Glen Ellyn and Wheaton area. This time around we ordered a family size 16 inch cheese and sausage pizza. The sausage is exceptional and Barones gives you a generous portion of it on your pizza."

"EDIT: I to make things right, Barones sent a gift card and my wife and I were able to get a pizza at no cost. It was the usual service I get from them and my faith in them is restored. Thank you for making sure that your clientele feel appreciated . I placed an order at 523 pm, I literally just left the pickup area it’s 6:13pm after being told it would be another 30 or 40 minutes since my 1 pizza hasn’t even been in the oven yet. I would expect the workers to try to appease their clientele and offer something but all they said was they’re sorry. Every other time I’ve been here the food and service was good, this time though put a real sour taste in my mouth"

"I’m shocked they’d even let a pizza out the oven like this, I called to complain not even asking for a refund from them and the young lady at 7:15pm Nov 17 2023 wouldn’t be accountable for what happened all she kept saying was oh you have to talk to grub hub, so I said Mam that’s not what I’m saying you aren’t taking any accountability for what happened, she then said we can make you another pizza but YOU have to PAY!? Wow. Look at this thing it’s almost burnt to a crisp, the cheese is so melted it’s a solid piece of cheese on each bite. This was my dad’s favorite pizza place growing up in glen Ellen but I’m afraid it’s not anymore after the phone experience and costumer service and quality issues we just had. Sad he loved that place."

"Pizza and spaghetti was excellent! Also had a KIDS ROOM with games. Great place for a family dinner! The deal was that we bought a large pizza and received FREE all you can eat pasta. We will be back."

"Decided to try this place based on the reviews and prices (which are great and reasonable compared to other places). I ordered takeout over the phone, and the lady taking the order didn't explain the options very well and had in fact taken my order wrong. They quickly adjusted it when my husband picked it up and didn't charge us the difference, so I really appreciated that. I had asked for them to substitute the sauce with Alfredo sauce and the dish turned out exactly like I wanted; the dish was a little on the saltier side and the Alfredo could definitely be thicker, but the entire dish was so delicious! Generous portions I must add. The French bread could be sliced and toasted, perhaps that's something we can request while dining in, but overall I will definitely come back to try their pizza. Tried their tiramisu also, which doesn't contain alcohol (perfect for me!) and it was creamy and decadent. Lovely customer service!"
