Reviews of SoHo Boutique
"Meh. I feel like the fashion is outdated and the buyers could use a huge refresh in purchasing. Especially when LG receives a lot of Chicago out of towners that come in(myself included), know what’s on trend and what is behind the times. So much possible potential. Hope they make it."
"The staff is amazing! What an amazing experience and they were so helpful. Beautiful clothes!"
"I purchased quite a few items a while back, and obviously you can't wear it all at once,so when I finally decided to wear one of the tops I noticed that there was a hole in it,so I took it back to exchange it,they had another top left but refused to exchange it because it was a clearance item aka "final sale,no exchange or return ",and I do understand that but I wasn't trying to exchange it because I changed my mind, the item was damaged so surely exemption should have been made.I had my receipt and tags were still attached as well. Needless to say I won't shop here anymore."
"The owner/associate/clerk or whoever they may be needs a lesson in customer service and business friendly language. My mother was mortified when she was informed by the individual working that “they don’t carry many extended sizes so this may not be the store for her”. Excuse me? Regardless of an individuals age or size, they can presumably read tags and figure out what your store does or doesn’t have. Embarrassing someone is the exact opposite way to get your brand out there. Stay on the end of the LG strip where your subpar business belongs. The reviews for this place speak for themselves."
"Giving this a solid 3. Obviously the store is caters to tourists, however as a former LG local now in the Mequon area thought it would be fun to buy a sweatshirt from here. I didn’t realize it was $100 til after I purchased it after thinking it was $80 like the one next to it, no big deal. When I get home one of my friends who is a successful seamstress noticed it was made with chenille varsity letters from Amazon sold for $12/ pack on a very cheap sweatshirt. Totally felt taken. Read the receipt and no returns after 15 days and never for credit to your card or cash, gift card only. That’s a ridiculous policy considering the certainty that many who patronize the shop likely will not return after they head home anyhow. Sorry, I can’t get behind this and the fact that the products are cute but ‘inspired by’ pieces that really do not afford the value of what they’re charging. Offer a 15 day refund policy and I would shop again. I was unable to try the items on because I mentioned I did not want to transfer my makeup to the white tops, doing you a favor by me trying on in my home and not ruining your garments. Until a fair return policy is considered, it’s a no for me. That’s not a good business practice and honestly the style of the store wouldn’t compel me to get a store credit. The other side of this is every time I have walked in, either someone is rude, watches like a hawk or doesn’t leave you alone to enjoy the experience. It’s hard to support a small business with an attitude when your patrons are who supports you and want an experience. Don’t take yourselves so seriously, you’re in tourist mecca. Be more welcoming or at least say Hi to your patrons before you pester them the entire time they’re browsing. Also didn’t appreciate the immediate trying to sell me on clearance items. I was promptly whisked away to look at and pressured to try things on that were completely uninteresting to me just to buy two get one free."
