"Every town needs a mechanic like this! We are a band from Detroit, MI who broke down while on tour. Our van had some issues and AAA towed us as far as Cape Girardeau. Since it was a Sunday, no shops could take us and we were desperate to get up and running to make it to our next show in Alabama, not only did Bo's On Call Automotive return our phone call within the hour, he drove out, gave us a jump, and even though the car was up and running, he stayed with us to make sure the car would continue to run for a while. Our car ended up having more issues than just a simple power draw, but Bo stayed with us for several hours trouble shooting and problem solving to figure out what was causing our vehicle to die. Bo knew we had a time sensitive issue and was willing to fit us into his busy schedule. Over the course of the next 3 days he consistently drove back and forth between us, other jobs, and family obligations to get us back on the road. He even took the time to walk through auto stores with us to make sure we were purchasing the right parts and helped us install them free of charge. Bo gave us so much more than just mechanical expertise, he made us feel safe in the knowledge that no matter what is going on at least we have a friendly, kind, intelligent and fair mechanic who can help us get back on the road to finish our shows and be home for the fast approaching holidays. Bo ended up fixing our power issues but unfortunately we had an engine malfunction that was completely unrelated to our power issues. We made it as far as a Dobb's repair shop down the road where Bo walked in with us and spoke to the mechanic's there to let them know every single thing he found wrong with the car, what he fixed, and what he believed the issue to be. He explained our situation to the mechanic and did not leave until he was sure we were in good hands, once he knew we were he stepped outside with us to talk alternative options should the van be totaled. He sent us links to car rental services, told us the best hotels in the area we could stay in for the time-being, and even found a few similar sized vehicles on Facebook marketplace, offering to come check them out with us to make sure they were good buys before we purchased one. The car ended up being totaled due to our rod bearings being cracked (something no one could have seen without putting the car on the bay at taking a look inside) so in the end we had to get a uhaul, clear out the van and take it to the next town, thanks to Bo we only had to cancel one show on the entire tour, without him I still do not believe we would have even had a plan to get home. Even after all of his valuable time and assistance Bo still refused to charge us extra for his time despite being at our side for the better part of 3 days. With the van being totaled and us having to leave it several states away from home, Bo still was doing everything he could to help us, finding scrap shops, messaging sellers and seeing what we could get for the car despite the engine being blown. When I say every town needs a mechanic like this, what I really mean is every community needs a person like this...Despite the consistent road blocks and issues, Bo never hesitated to go the extra mile and lend out a helping hand wherever he could. Cars are just that, cars, and during the entirety of our exchange with Bo I never felt like he was working on my car, rather that he was doing whatever he could to help me out of a difficult situation. Don't get me wrong, Bo is great at what he does and he is certainly one of the more knowledgable mechanics I have come across in my time (being a touring musician believe me I have come across more than a few) but what separates Bo's On Call Automotive from every other mechanic in the area (the country really) is that Bo genuinely cares about his clients. Bo is honest, friendly and more than fair. He won't waste time on something he cannot fix for an extra buck. My only complaint is that there is not a Bo in every town. I cannot recommend this service highly enough! Thanks Bo!"

"I can’t stress enough how impressed I was with Bo. I break down right off the interstate… being from out of town I don’t know a soul in Missouri. I start searching online for a mobile mechanic. Within minutes of leaving him a message, he calls me back. 15 minutes later he shows up and gets me towed out of the road to a nearby gas station. (I was shocked as I would have sworn Pedro Pascal had just shown up to work on my truck! He assured me his name was Bo though!) He identified the problem with my truck almost immediately and then got on the horn calling around trying to find parts for me. Bo went above and beyond to get me back on the road again. When it came time to pay him for the repair, his pricing was more than reasonable. Very thankful I found him in my moment of need."
