"Ridiculous prices, rice and beans separate charge, Chile is nothing more than tomato sauce. When I did ask for chili sauce I got a blended bell pepper. Not recommended."
"Had the menudo: they don’t have limes (green lemons) at this place. The salsa doesn’t pica at all, and it has flavor like it was pulled out of a can, it doesn’t taste freshly made Very clean place and nice people servicing."
"My opinion only. I judge mexican restaurants by their hotsauce. It was not to MY liking. You may like it but it's not for me. Fajitas were the bomb. Chili con queso was the best in town.. I just didn't like the hotsauce."
"Menudo is outstanding. Probably the best in the county. However, I recommend ordering a small bowl because the serving size is the same as the large bowl. Atmosphere is very inviting. Bathrooms are clean and George Strait was playing on the radio."
"This was by far the worst Mexican food I've had in South Texas. The only good thing were the chips. The salsa, as you can see, was a can of tomatoes blended with a tiny amount of a pepper. We asked for queso for our chips and it was HORRIBLE. As you can see in the picture it is the cheapest Velveeta knock-off found, mixed with canned chili. That is NOT queso. The chili gravy on the cheese enchilada had absolutely no taste and it was flat because I couldn't find any cheese inside of it. My crispy taco was pretty much empty. The flour tortilla wrapped in foil was burnt. When the waitress brought our food we asked for a few more chips and she brought a whole basket, and that was the last time we saw her. When we got to the counter to pay our bill the ticket had 1x chips $1.50. I asked why that was there, she said, "first basket is complimentary, and each after that is a dollar fifty. NEVER heard of this but we at least could've been told at the time of asking for them, NOT when we got the ticket. I would go to Taco Bell before eating at this place again!"
