"Good coffee, great freshly made pastries, and dog friendly. For your date morning or a morning out with friends, this place has all the options. There are plenty of comfortable places to sit both inside or out both for couples or groups. Tables on the sidewalk and coaches inside. Pastries are made fresh each morning with a variety of options. Your four footed friend won't be left out either. They have a doggie treat station. Insert nose and get a treat."
"The Dearborn Cafe is spotless with friendly efficient service. The portions are large and reasonably priced. For breakfast the eggs Benedict is delicious. The pancakes are light and fluffy and they come with breakfast instead of toast."
"Seated quickly. Right there with water and coffee. Food arrived hot."
"The food is made by hand, served quickly and by friendly wait staff. I had chicken noodle soup as part of my meal and it was very tasty! I found out the man who Cook's gets there every morning at 4am to get the soups and other foods prepared. 7/22 - Today I had a taco salad at Dearborn's. It was huge! And tasted great! Lettuce, taco beef meat, tomatoes, crispy tortilla strips, salsa and sour cream. They also offered guacamole and jalapeños but passed on those. I arrived close to their closing time of 2 pm but they did not rush me. The server was friendly and quick."
"I wanted to love this place. I stopped in on a Sunday afternoon because I’ve read good reviews and heard good things on Facebook before. Admittedly we stopped in at 2:15, they close at 3:00. It was obvious the staff was prepping to close at 3:00. They didn’t rush us but I could tell they really wanted to close right at 3:00. I don’t go out of my way to complain at a restaurant and I certainly don’t expect a discount from my bill to I didn’t voice my thoughts on the food as I wasn’t asked how the food was. If asked I would have explained my feelings but I wasn’t asked. I was asked how we were doing while we were eating but not asked how the food was, not even when I paid the bill. Most places I’ve been to, especially family run restaurants, always ask on checkout how everything was. They have done a great job decorating it, I loved the decor, colors and everything was very clean. The restroom was very clean and had nice fixtures, etc. As far as the food, I had a burger and my wife a skillet. The burger was over cooked, dry and tasted like like very cheap low quality meat. My wife’s skillet had ham in it which was very thinly sliced ham, it looked like chopped up lunch meat to me. She said the hash browns were undercooked. The price was decent, if all the food was great, I’d say the price was spot on but I feel like I over payed as I didn’t like the food at all. Maybe we picked the wrong things but it seems the food is poor quality. Sadly, I won’t go back and try other things. My 3 star review would have been a 2 star if the place wasn’t clean, tidy and decorated well."
