Reviews of Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers
"First time stopping at Freddy’s for lunch today. Drew greeted us as we walked in, an amazing way to start our experience. Zach helped us order and gave the best suggestions. Valarie and Jessie were incredible and so helpful. Great staff, great food and an incredible experience. A must stop for locals or if you’re passing through. A+ wish we had one in Washington."
"People were nice, food was good, but took 30 min to go through drive thru, was only 1 car back from the ordering spot. It's good, but not sure the wait is worth it!"
"Nasty dirty 1 stall women’s restroom, roll of paper towels for you to use were on the filthy floor. Went back out & through the drive thru and the guy taking orders & working the window was great. Food was so salty it was not edible and we threw it away. Wouldn’t go to this location again."
"The food was decent but not something to rave about. The onion rings were done half-hazardly, so a few of them were clumps with semi-raw batter inside. The smashed burger was a unique approach that I had not experienced before. Were it not for the careless manner in which it was assembled, it might have earned an extra star. The Reese's concrete was really good. Overall, the food was prepared in such a way as to fall short in competition to other burger joints. The service was fast. This was the only saving grace to an otherwise lack-luster interaction. Like the food, the customer service was simply blasè. Friendliness does wonders to create a loyal customer base. Freddy's failed that. The atmosphere was energetic, bright, and clean. In this category, Freddy's shined. While the color scheme is very similar to Five Guys, the effort at creating a modern-day burger joint that still felt like an active drive-in was well-done. As a final note. I am aware that my experience could simply be a matter of timing. I am not writing Freddy's off. Everyone deserves a second chance."
"Wow! I never thought I'd be so enthusiastic about a fast food stop, but I was that impressed with the service here! We swung by while on a road trip with our two toddlers, and were just very happy with how we were treated. The staff were kind and patient as we decided what to order (it was our first time at a Freddy's). The cheeseburger was very good, and they had big slices of pickle (why don't more places do that?)!! Shoestring fries can be a bit hit or miss for folks, but I liked them (and so did my children). Perfectly crispy. We weren't sure how much the kids would eat, so we split the kids meal and they cut the kids cheeseburger in half for them and put the milk in two different cups for them. It was just an incredibly thoughtful gesture that we didn't even have to ask for. I've only had that happen at sit down restaurants, and even then sporadically. They wolfed down all their food, so it was clearly delicious to them too. The dining area is clean and well-kept. The bathrooms are clean - and this is the first place I've been since I've had kids where the Koala Bear changing station ACTUALLY had the changing covers. Just so impressed by our experience. We literally came home and looked for a Freddy's near us to see if this is just the norm with the chain or we happened to stop by an amazing one."
