"El Kolibri in Cape Girardeau is an absolute gem. During our Illinois-Mississippi trip, this little coffee shop turned out to be the highlight of our day. The barista, a true cultural ambassador for this little town (in our opinion), welcomed us warmly. We ordered lattes, and she shared her passion for coffee, explaining her dedication to sourcing the best beans. She introduced us to unique import syrups (consider vanilla to add a delightful twist to your drink). To top it off, we were treated to Mexican cinnamon cookies that were simply heavenly. Our visit to El Kolibri was truly amazing, leaving us with unforgettable memories. We can't wait to return to this charming town and this wonderful coffee shop. "The coffee is outstanding, and the staff is so kind! I stopped here while passing through town, and had an exceptional iced americano. The espresso is really smooth. The environment is really fun too— it’s located in a historic house that now houses different vendors and artists. If I’m ever passing through town again, I’ll be back!"

"The coffee here is the best! The beans they use give it a great taste, and they have a lot of unique latte flavors (the lavender latte is amazing). If you like to support local small businesses, this place is a must! Everyone who works there is super friendly. They use a lot of natural ingredients in the stuff they make, and they sell the beans and syrups they use. There's lots of other cute things to look at in the shop too. It's definitely one of my favorite places to go in the area!"
