"Shout out to Emily!!!!! My daughter has a soy allergy. Emily took the time to explain the menu, discuss options with the kitchen staff, offer suggestions, and discuss possible new options for allergy concerning people. This was a WONDERFUL experience, as those with allergies have very limited choices when it comes to eating outside of the home. The only issue we had was that it was cold weather outside, and was sat next to their big beautiful door, so every time someone came in, which was a lot ( I am glad, great for business), we froze. May need to think about some sort of entryway there to cut down on the chill in those colder months?"

"From what I understand the restaurant just recently opened. It appears they are still trying to get into a flow. It took an hour between ordering our food and actually receiving it. I ordered salad & soup. The salad was really good. The tomato bisque soup had a good flavor, but it was really thick and not hot enough. Our waitress was nice. It’s a cool venue so I hope they can get the kinks worked out and make a go of it."

"I was lucky enough to be in town early for a meeting and grab a toast and a coffee from this place. I highly anticipate their dinner offerings and can’t say enough good things about their coffee and toast. Only recommendation for the toast is that it could be a slightly larger portion for the price, but the flavors were excellent and the quality of ingredients is there so that i don’t feel that it’s an unfair price. They use Big Shoulders coffee out of Chicago which is an awesome addition to downstate and I can’t wait to return when dinner is available. Coffee is made with care and they have several non dairy milks available."

"Great new place if you have time stop in and check it out. Had the chicken and waffles which were very very good. Coffee was really solid as well! They were still working on getting dinner service up and running and will definitely be back to check it out!"
