"I love hot wings with all my heart so I know this review had to be made. Even though I chose BBQ this time I just want to say upon opening up my togo box that it was no mistake. You know how certain restaurants wings look slimy and undercooked? Not Richards… they literally have this method where they smoke the wings first and then throw in the grease after for a short amount of time to give the chicken a crisp effect. On the top of that the fries are seasoned!!!! Omg I even think they make a homemade ranch. So if you happen to be in that neck of the woods and craving some wings then, I would highly suggest stopping in! Oh yea sn I went on a Wednesday, they have a special where you get a pound of wings and fries only for $10. I’d say thats a steal."

"Walked in was greeted right away by the server, who got our drinks right away and told us about the menu. She was very attentive. We kept it simple and got some old downtown Richards staples. Chicken tenders (frozen pre-made tenders, but ok)and cheese fries, Ribeye sandwich (cooked well and had good flavor) and cheese fries both were great and for a fair price, served hot, and fast. Atmosphere is more dive bar feeling, but ok."

"We went here to celebrate our anniversary. We were so excited because on Main it was our favorite place to go. We both got clubs, fries and cheese. We split an order of mozzarella sticks as well. All was fantastic! The cheese seems a bit spicier than I remembered but it was still good! The guy who waited/cooked our food was very friendly and welcoming. So happy to have Richard's back!"

"Unfortunately this was in no way similar to the old Richard's. The iconic cheese sauce is a different recipe, though marketed as if it's the same. Today's pulled pork felt like biting into a brick - I'm pretty sure the pork was from the same batch as opening day. It was the equivalent of biting into week old opened beef jerky. I wish it would've been opened under a different name. It's also now located in the same building as a sleazy strip club, making it a poor location for family dining - the receipt for Richard's even says "Elliots" at the top. Calling this restaurant Richard's isn't fair, and it's a poor representation of what used to be a well known restaurant in Peoria."
