"I love the 50’s Diner. There’s always really nice people in there, not just the customers but the staff as well. If you walk in by yourself, you may choose to sit up at the counter next o another person who walked in alone. The staff is so polite and all of them have such a good sense of humor. They are almost like family. They not only remember us but our children and grandchildren as well. They have a wonderful menu and all the food is delicious plus you can get breakfast all day long if you tend to sleep in. I highly recommend this place and know if you stop by, you will continue to go back. Oh, and if you like onion rings, order the onion strings. They are to die for!"

"I had high hopes for this diner. From walking in to see the 50’s dining tables with red vinyl and chrome chairs to the small gift shop with locally made food and crafts, the atmosphere is nothing short of fun. If you remember Maid-Rites then you know their loose meat sandwich harkens back to that tasty meat. I think we hit an off day because my table mates said their buns were not steamed, they were slightly dry and hard as though they had been microwaved to warm up. I had the 2 egg breakfast with turkey sausage and pancakes. The pancakes were over cooked, unfortunately. The service was really slow, which I’m told is not the norm. For a party of 4 for lunch, our bill was $48 before tip. Great parking close to the door. Very friendly staff and attentive to refills on coffee."

"It's just okay. Burger was dry, nothing special. Fries were decent and crispy, but just bought in bulk and deep fried. Not handmade, so nothing stood out as exceptional. Fries with the loosey meat was good, but they are $10. I asked the lady seating people where to pay, she was snarky in her response, "Underneath the big sign that says pay here" she said. It's fine, I won't need to look for that payment sign in the future when I don't come back."

"It's actually been a couple years since we've eaten here and I feel like the store part was new but I'm not 100% sure. I thought it looked great though, I enjoyed looking through the items that they had for sale in the store while we waited for our name to be called. We waited for maybe 20 minutes or so but it flew by pretty quickly. I think we were getting there at the tail end of the lunch rush. They were out of gravy and french fries this day but I know lots of things are short supply everywhere so it wasn't a big deal there were plenty of other things to choose from on the menu. I ended up going with the chicken and waffles and I was not disappointed! The chicken strips were so big I've never actually had a chicken strip that size before and the fact that they were hand breaded was even better! The waffle came out in a cute little flower design and it tasted fantastic. My son also got the chicken strip basket with tater tots & loved them. Our waitress was super friendly and we really didn't have to wait too long despite the fact that they were really busy. She was attentive and got us boxes when we were ready to go and practically $10 a meal wasn't horrible at all, we will definitely be returning!"
