Reviews of IKEA
"Cafeteria was nice. Staged areas nice. Seems like quantity was successful, quality...... not impressed with. Everything from kitchen items to chairs would have a very short life of use in a house with children or someone that cooked daily."
"Can never go wrong with ikea. Don’t forget to check out the 2nd hand space near the exits/billing area. It can be a gem sometimes. Especially when you need to buy something and they have that for a low price in 2nd hand, few just few scratches, it’s definitely worth it. Since it’s all self service kind of a place, staff can seem disinterested and unfriendly but overall a decent store. Snack/food section available but not that interesting in my opinion for the hype it has."
"I always thought IKEA was a company of integrity - focused on the best customer service. But for two weeks I have been calling the only number available for customer assistance, the 888 number, because I have purchased an expensive product that is defective. The “co-workers” staffing the 888 line have tried multiple times to put me in touch with the appropriate person at the store, but they never pick up the call. And I have been told multiple times that I am on the “urgent” list and will receive a return call from the store promptly. But no one has called me after two weeks. I am told by the 888 staff that I have approval to bring the defective items to the store for store credit but it is a very large and cumbersome set of outdoor flooring. As a senior, I’d have to pay someone to disassemble it and haul it to the store. I could drive from the county to the city to try to talk to someone but there is no guarantee that the right person would be there since you cannot in any way speak to someone on the phone. And the 888 number staff tell me that no one has oversight on the store - that there is nothing they can do to help me other than to try repeatedly to get the appropriate resolution person on the phone. This has been a disappointing, frustrating, and fruitless attempt to just get help with a defective item that should never have been sold in the first place."
"So much to see at IKEA! You really feel immersed in the full kitchens and bedrooms. I do wish the food mart next to the cash registers stayed open later so I could grab a drink on the way out. Everything is organized very well."
"Lots of parking inside and out. Customer pick up parking. Which is typical of IKEA. First time at this location. Everyone I’ve asked from Kelly to others have been helpful for finding my way around. Kelly gave me extra details so I’d know what was where I hadn’t asked for which is wonderful considering this is my first visit. Large selection, as I’d expected. Found a great price on a frame needed and ideas for renovation upgrades I’ve been working on. This location is always on the way to and from visiting family and touring. Looking forward to returning"
