"I've made every effort to be patient while some issues were addressed, but it's all been to no avail, so here I am. One of the main reasons I chose Abali was because of the "no pet" (except Service/Emotional Support) policy. Yet, my neighbors' very young puppy uses the restroom at/around my door several times a week. In fairness to my neighbor, she cleans it up, but there's still remnants left behind. I signed my lease in October and asked for screens to be put on my windows, I submitted a Maintenance Order as a reminder, yet the screens STILL have NOT been installed. The people who live in the unit in front of me, set out bags of leaky trash DAYS in advance, and now the walkway is stained with food/other residue that is sure to attract roaches, ants, racoons, etc. Yesterday, I stopped by my unit to make sure everything was intact, and a whole grocery cart was beside my door. Today, my camera showed two men taking it away after one of them stopped to dig through the neighbor's trash that has been out for 24+ hours. Several days ago, an obviously mentally ill woman stopped at my door to leave an open can of tuna, but I guess she decided she didn't want to share after all, and took it with her. I don't know if she was a vagrant or a tenant. I was going to ask the new Assistant Manager when I met with him, but I never received a reply to that request from three days ago either. Speaking of vagrants, I've seen a few hanging out by my unit when I stopped by after work at around 4am. You need a fob to access the elevator, and so I surmised AND reported that they are likely accessing the building via the stairwell security door with the missing knob. Oh, and don't bother replying with that "Contact your Regional Manager." because I called the Corporate Office weeks ago, left a detailed message requesting the RM's phone number, and never received a call back. I absolutely understand the turnover rate and staff shortages as it relates apartment management which is why I gave it from October to December, but at this point, I should NOT still be facing the same concerns as I was 90 days ago. I have multiple jobs and they ALL get done, so I don't think it's unreasonable for me to expect the team here to do the same. It's disappointing that such a small property has so many issues. It is EXTREMELY noisy because of I-35, but it seemed well taken care of at first glance, and I was excited to move in. Now, I'm just disgusted by the entire environment - it's filthy, as visible in the pictures. I literally have to hopscotch to my door to avoid the remants of feces (and only God knows what else). I've requested it be powerwashed, and AGAIN, as with everything else, no feedback/update. Initially, the new Assistant Manager emailed a few replies, and I explained my willingness to be patient, but it has worn thin, as I don't see any GENUINE effort being made to resolve anything. This place isn't suitable for people with standards, and so if you're even considering applying, I have one word, four letters - don't!"

"I met with Ebony Tuesday August the 31st. Very nice and helpful young lady. We were due to meet at apartments but according to her, fire Marshall was not permitting anyone go into building so had to meet her at the Marriott down the street. There she took copies of birth certificates and DL. I filled out more paperwork and was told I would hear something by that Thursday the second. She ended up calling me Wednesday and unfortunately I missed the call. Tried calling and calling and calling and still have yet to hear a response. I can’t even leave voicemail due to mail box being full. I reached out on website September 7th and got a response that someone from the team will get bk to me shortly. No one has gotten back to me. Poor customer service. ***UPDATE*** Ebony reached out to me and explained the situation and offered to give me tour of apartment. Which by the way, is beautiful! I now understand why things seem to be running slow and at times there is no response. They are truly working around the clock to get things completed and residents moved in ASAP. I applaud Ebony for all her hard work."

"Like most of these reviews I've tried to reach out for more information and schedule a tour of the facility. I was contacted by Ebony immediately asking to complete a tax credit application and provide personal information like my SSN, date of birth, etc. After responding that I was interested in additional information and a tour before applying I received no response. I hope this is not a scam."

"I had been trying for the longest to reach out to someone, and I had finally heard a response back after months of silence to fill out an application sent by email. But then no one contacted me about anything afterwards, emails and calls all ignored. They don't care about their guests if they are taking months or not even responding at all. You're better off finding somewhere else to live that will actually communicate with you and want you there."
