"The doctors are amazing if you can ever get through the red tape of the front office. The schedulers are rude and unhelpful. They will work harder to not help than it would take to actually help."
"My son who’s a patient had a circumcision @ 7 months of age 3 years ago. (He had to wait due to the pandemic.) After the procedure healed it looked as though he never had a circumcision done to begin with. I brought him back into the office multiple times over the next almost 3yrs w/ my concerns & desire for a revision. I was told by the physician that a revision wasn’t necessary & was detoured away from the idea w/ scary scenarios of what could go wrong if a revision was done. Instead I was advised that one day @ Some point during his life, while erect, the penile skin will just BREAK FREE on its own & yes it would be painful, but he’ll be fine. Like what?! That advice was absolutely absurd! Finally I asked for a second opinion & was granted one with a younger provider. During her very first exam she agreed that a revision was needed, none of those scary scenarios that I was advised of before was anything that she would even bother to acknowledge & she got him scheduled for surgery almost immediately. The amount of skin left after his initial circumcision was way too much & it had pretty much completely reattached! I went unheard & ignored for nearly 3 years because the original physician didn’t want to admit that the job he did, wasn’t a good one. Or maybe he just didn’t want to be bothered. Parents advocate for your babies & don’t let up. Get as many opinions as you need. Lastly the people who handle calls in the office could use some customer service training. When I call the ladies have a bad habit of cutting me off & talking over me & just come across very annoyed from the moment they answer. I asked to speak to a manager & never got a call back. I mentioned it to one of the NP’s during an appointment & she said she would have someone contact me, but that’s was 2 weeks ago nobody ever did. I’m just glad to be almost done w/ my journey w/ the practice & glad that my son finally got his procedure done correctly & won’t have to go through life in pain or embarrassed"
"I am not a patient but I did start to work here as a check-in member. My very first day of training (and last) was a mess!! I understand it’s a medical office and it gets busy, but you would think they would be more prepared to train someone. First thing in the morning I was put with a person from the scheduling department her name is Bianey she was extremely rude. She had me sit there for a good 5 minutes before even talking to me just to ask what department I was training for before I could finish my sentence she cut me off and told me “ that since I wasn’t going to be in scheduling there was nothing she could teach me so I could just sit there and watch her” after 10 minutes of literally just sitting there she took ONE phone call and was rude to the patient parents. After that I excused myself and went to go ask the manager if I could go train with someone else. Karen the check in person was extremely nice and helpful. She was willing to help but due to the fact that they didn’t have my log in information for the server they used her options were limited. Everyone was running all over the place and most of the time I was left just sitting there. I do not recommend this place to work."
"My son had surgery at 6 months of age and Dr. Menon was truly a blessing. She was great and made us feel at ease. He is 3 years old and started having other medical issues. We struggled for 8 months and finally took him back to Dr. Menon. She instantly knew what to do and set us on the right path. I can honestly say I trust my child's life in her hands."
