"My experience here at Calder Square has been TOP TIER!! It started kind of rocky but every issue I brought to maintenance and the office staff have been handled and resolved in a timely manner! I am renewing my lease and Sylvia has made the process seamless!! They are always nice, attentive and very professional! Tino, the maintenance man takes great pride in his work and when he comes to complete work orders he even asks about my little one! Definitely a family vibe and atmosphere here!"

"Do not rent here. When I provided my move in form within the 48 hours allowed I identified all the existing water damage throughout the apartment as you can see the yellow coming through the paint under the single pane window in the entryway and other places where you can see water along with the carpet not being attached to the tack strips and when we pulled on the plastic strings by the wall the carpet came loose in many places and you can see that the tack strips are black with mold instead of the light wood color it's supposed to be and the staple or hooks that the carpet is attached to should look silver and instead are black and appeared corroded which in my opinion is why the carpet isn't attached to the tack strips along the walls in the places we looked in the bedrooms. Even though maintenance tickets were input on August 26th no one showed up for a 2 weeks and it was the new person that was on day 2 of his employment with my list of items and tickets. I was forced to move in anyway on August 30th as I had to have my stuff out of the other place on 8/31 and I had to clean. Here it is 9/15 and it rained today and my mater bedroom walk-in closet is flooded and my dresses that touched the floor are sopping wet and my shoe boxes on the bottom absorbed all the water coming in and fell over onto the floor. I have $299 UGGS that are suede and ruined thanks to the lack of maintenance tickets being processed to address the water penetration in this apartment. I was forced to leave a voicemail at 7:41pm for emergency maintenance to come and stop the water coming in as it is supposed to rain for the next couple of days. I received a call back at 7:48pm and when I demanded to know when I would have maintenance here to stop the water coming in I was told that he wasn't coming because he had to call the lady in the front office and talk to her. When I asked when is someone going to call me he stated someone would get back to me. I just hung up because that always means they will ignore you and you won't get any maintenance help for an emergency nor a call back. Of course he specifically made sure he didn't say that I would be contacted today (Friday, 9/15), tomorrow (Sat 9/16), Sun 9/17, Mon 9/18 or maybe never. As I write this post it is now 8:15pm and I have not received a call regarding water flooding the closet. The out door storage is unusable and needs to be gutted and replaced as they are doing in a handful of other apartments. The door jam is rotted and missing in the bottom left side and I struggle to push the bottom part of the door in so I can slam the door repeatedly with all of my weight to get it to shut. Now please understand that the bottom 4 to 6 inches of the drywall is rotted and covered in mold. Someone has dissolved and it doesn't even touch the floor. The wall moves when you open the door and is very unstable. That has been ignored to date. Don't think you will be able to use your storage area to store anything as it could be in an unusable condition such as mine even though you have to pay rent for something you can't ever use. I have an ant infestation ever since maintenance opened the sliding glass door that I couldn't get to open to spray WD30. Ants started coming from the wall in the living room and I had to use my insect spray to kill the ants. I continue to have ants come into the apartment and have to check all walls of the entire apartment 2-3 times daily and spray my own purchased insect spray to kill the ants and try to keep this under control. I encourage you to rent elsewhere."
"Calder Square has been such a blessing for my whole family. The management is very attentive and very helpful! The maintenance is very fast and easy to request. Personally the fitness room is incredible, open 24 hours and definitely mine and my husband’s favorite place on this whole apartment complex. They have a pool and yes it’s awesome and always clean!! Besides all these awesome things to do the apartments are newly remodeled & beautiful and very peaceful!! My husband and I have never had a problem and definitely recommend, if you have any doubts don’t!! You will love it!!"
