The Busted Cup Brewhouse

"My sister and I tried out this restaurant tonight for my birthday outing. I ordered the burrata salad and the bacon wrapped cheese curds appetizer……the salad was good, but a little lacking in flavor. The whole time I was eating I was just thinking of ways to make it taste better…like some toasted pine nuts, or homemade croutons. The option to add on some shrimp skewers or grilled chicken would be a great option also! The bacon wrapped cheese curds were ok, I can see other people loving them, I again was just wishing there was more flavor, or maybe some crunch. The bacon was good (cause duh, it’s bacon) the jalapeño aioli was yummy. Nothing wrong with the appetizer really, just not enough flavor/texture for me. My sister ordered a pork schnitzel thing that was served with a warm bacon gravy on top and cheesy spaetzle for the side. It was good and my sister said she enjoyed it and would order again. She did get served the wrong meal first, but it was just an innocent mistake and the waitress quickly fixed it. Our waitress….she said it was just her second shift working there, so definitely super new. She did amazing, very personable and if she didn’t know the answer to a question she nicely said that and and to find out. She honestly couldn’t have been any better….I made sure to tell that to a manager before we left. This would be a great place to go with a group of friends, a date night or even family night with the kids. Ohh…..the Dutch baby dessert was absolutely amazing and the best part of our meal for sure."

"This is a fantastic new restaurant in Buingron. This spacious, bright, cleverly decorated dining area creates a great ambiance for the food that is to come. The service is top shelf, efficient, and friendly. The food is great, and the German fare is done nearly to perfection. The appetizers also do not disappoint. It is pricy, but what isn't? I highly recommend the Busted Cup!"

"Friendly and accommodating service in a spacious environment reminiscent of a bier garten on the upper level. (Elevator to get there if needed.) Nice options for meats, sides, drinks, and desserts. All of the food was good. Glad to see an option like this (German food) in Burlington."

"We are impressed. Beautiful facility. Every single staff member from the time we entered until we finished spoke to us. The service was fast and the food was out quickly as well. This deserves a standing ovation. Busted cup is offering a small menu with thoughtfully crafted platters that brings German food with authentic tastes to Burlington. This is an excellent addition to our great downtown. I felt like family eating here. Let’s go to cocktails and beer. We did 2 flights, so 8 tap offerings. We enjoyed them all. I have my favorite types but even if I’m not a kolsch fan I still enjoyed it. No baking soda aftertaste either. Bottom line- they have great beer. It’s solid and delicious with a great selection of house brews and offerings on tap. I AM IMPRESSED. They have been open 6 days. My experience is 5/5. 10/5!!! We brought our kids and they were welcome and found the menu to be delicious! We will be back!!!! Clean and upscale. Adding a wine bar and I’m sure it will be done just as well.
