"Normally I have a good meal here. Today I ordered two takeout meals and stayed to wait for them. The staff let the orders sit on the back counter while they visited with customers. If I’d have known they were ready I would’ve spoken up. By the time I got them the Reuben sandwich, French fries and sweet potato fries were cold and nasty. Inedible. I should have gone to McDonalds."

"Walking in seriously felt like we weren't supposed to be here, as if the place was abandoned. No music, no TV, no sound whatsoever, you could hear dust fall into the floor, which is never good for someone with anxiety. I felt like I couldnt talk or clear my throat without being the loudest thing in there. No waiters/waitresses/hostess in sight, so we sat ourselves, which is fine, but the place is so dark, if 2 other parties weren't already eating, I'd have walked right back out. When the server finally came out, he was nice & the service was good, food was tolerable, the old town feel was nice - but then even trying to pay our bill, we had to wait at the counter for 10 min just for someone to come out. Just didn't leave a great overall impression, kinda disappointed, the place seemed like it'd be a lot better."

"Service from the waitress was a little slow. Had to wait 5 minutes just to get containers to put leftover food in. And the atmosphere - it is way too dark inside. My mother kept complaining how the lighting was really bad inside. They need to lighten the ceiling. My mother suggested even painting the bricks a brighter color (but I like the natural color of bricks)."

"I walked in on a whim at 6 in the evening and ordered California salad and carrot cake. Ordered it on carry out. Price of both was around $17. The business sits on a town square. A very Quiet atmosphere. Good service. Staff was kind and helpful. Very clean. California salad had strawberries, mandarin oranges, lettuce and pecans. I had it with poppy seed dressing. All was fresh and crisp. Carrot cake had a definite cinnamon taste. Icing was delish. I think it may have been in case a couple days but dried out parts didn’t take away from overall good flavor"

"The grilled cinnamon roll is incredible. Highly recommend that with some hot coffee and breakfast. Nice friendly staff."
