"Water gets cut off on a regular bases and without notice. The water sometimes is off for days or a week to weeks at a time. Constant car break ins and apartment break ins.My mothers car was vandalized, the the office did absolutely nothing We have security but we never see the security officer there are no cameras on the property either. Gates are constantly broken. The other entrance and exit Gates are chained off. The buildings need to be power washed. The wood around the buildings have a lot of dry rot especially in the building that I live in. There is a severe roach bed bug and flea infestation in this complex. There is always trash on the grounds. The sewage lines constantly back up into the parking lot. Maintenence is up and down when it comes to fixing things. There is dog and cat urnine and feces every where on the property. Homeless people and etc go in and out of the vacant apartments regularly the leasing office staff does nothing there is water damage in our unit"
"This place is terrible. Roach infested apartments, no matter how clean it is in your home roaches will come from other apartments. I can hear rats or mice in the walls occasionally. Management is terrible they just ignore you when you walk into the office and could care less if you haven't had AC for a week or clogged plumbing for 2 weeks. The trash bins get full within first few days sometimes and it overflows making it impossible to get near the trash bins. The only reasonable people who work here are the maintenance guys, 5 stars for them."
"My wife and I lived in this apartment complex since 2009, when we moved to Houston. Over this time, several unfortunate incidents have occurred. Both of our vehicles have been broken into countless times, and we've had substantial items stolen from the vehicles, namely important documents, tools, and equipment. We do not feel safe here at Pathway apartment complex. This has happened too many times, and my wife and I are tired of it. We pay too much in rent to have to deal with having our vehicles broken into. In addition, the lights here at the complex are often not working, making it that much easier for thieves to seamlessly break into cars. Most recently, about a month ago, the carport roof collapsed on my truck. A few days after the carport collapsed on the truck, my tires were punctured when I (unknowingly) drove over metal pieces, which were improperly disposed of by the complex's cleanup crew. When I alerted the leasing office, the managers originally instructed me to go through our auto insurance to make a claim. I refused cause my auto insurance company informed me that my building apartment complex should file a claim with there insurance company since this all took place at there property, which I agree. The leasing office then told me to get three estimates for repair from different auto repair shops. I did, and a few suggested the vehicle be totaled, with the cost of repair being as costly as it is. To date, we have been given the run-around regarding the truck. The managers always tell us to wait to hear from corporate but nothing has been done as of yet. We expect the leasing office to cover the expense of the tires that were slashed in addition to the repair cost of the truck. Also, for months now, we have been complaining about the water damage caused by Hurricane Harvey. The roof sometimes leaks, and there are brown spots in the ceiling. This is not a safe or sanitary environment at all. The leasing office refuses to repair the water-damaged ceiling. As a result of these unfortunate incidents, we don't plan on living here much longer. For all potential renters please do your homework and research before you rent these unsafe apartment managers don’t care about there tenants. Also, for the record, I have never been late on my rent since I moved to Houston 2009, and we will not be renewing our lease here at the Pathway, now known as Stonecrossing Apartments."
"i have lived there for about 19 months, and there are some good and bad. First the cons: the rent is pretty affordable, and the area is great, westheimer right at the corner, Kroger at a walking distance, tons of restaurants and stores around. access to beltway 8, richmond, gessner, etc. The ladies in the office a absolute gems, they were adorable and very helpful. i don’t know what kind of power they have over all the problems i'm gonna talk about, but it can't entirely their fault. i don’t think they have a say in most of them. the appartment we had was roomy enough, the equipment was working. now they have a website for repair orders, it's automated and i guess is an improvement now the cons: security was an issue. very few cameras at impossible angles, a large parking lot that doesn’t make sense, security guard that spends his time on the phone, or in his car, the gate that is working 3 times out of 5 because some dumb*** busts it, and most times i bet it's one of the residents that ducks it up for everybody. trash was an issue. it's outside and kinda remote but not that much. they have 4 containers and each time you'll see trash all over the floor while the containers are empty. people can't take 2 more steps and lift a ducking trash bag and put it into the container that is right in front of them. im sorry but that's not a property issue, it's just people who live like animals. amenities are just for show. the pool did not work the whole summer. the gym is small and the equipment is not very durable, so every now and then, something is missing, or broken, and it takes forever to get it fixed. i just stopped going and let myself go fat lol Pests, well universal problem, take care of it as soon as you get in the apartment. i did not have anything crazy in my apartment. the washer and dryer are on the balcony, which is inconvenient because you can't go when it rains or when it's cold. no laundry in the nude, sorry lol overall: it was a good community i lived in for my first years in Houston, i can't complain too much, because i have seen worse when i looked for apartments. they have been an important part of my life and i am grateful that i got to live in a nice and diverse community like this one. Duck those who duck it up for all the rest. they deserve to breathe stinky smells for the rest of their lives. but if you start your life and don’t have too much money, it is a good place, while working towards something better. i do hope they start using some budget to better people's lives."
"Our group Kids On A Mission operated a lemonade stand here for National Lemonade Day and had a great turn out. This was our first year in business and we did really well. The location that we chose was perfect and drew in a lot of customers. We are super excited to do it again next year. Thanks to everyone who stopped by and supported our group Kids On A Mission!!!! God Bless"
