"Please look elsewhere!! When I first moved here, I had to deal with roaches. I had to literally beg them to have the entire building exterminated at the same time in order to have the roaches go away. Then about 6 months after that, I’m walking into my master bathroom and water starts dripping on me. The same area in my ceiling that I told them had been leaking started getting worse and eventually burst open. Then a week later, I hear a loud bang in my guest bathroom and the soap dish fell off of the wall and you could tell that wasn’t the first time. My wash room has mold in it from the ceiling leaking just like my master bathroom which now has another area directly over the tub that is leaking as well. A new company, Wilhoit Properties purchased the complex in March of 2023 and things got worse. The previous owners and leasing staff apparently weren’t doing what they were supposed to do with our rent payments. I recently withdrew from section 8 but at the time, housing paid $121 and I was responsible for $873. I have my bank statements showing that my rent was paid on time sometimes BEFORE the first of the month. They’re telling us (myself and majority of the complex) that we have outstanding balances on our accounts and we are being evicted AFTER we were told by an employee in the front office while we were all lined up in there that this was due to one of the ladies that works in the office not clearing out the small balances and only wanting to clear the bigger balances that were messed up by the previous company. Today I got an eviction letter that said I needed to be out by Feb 12th. Now, there is not a problem with me leaving, I hate it here anyway. But I refuse to have them put anything on my credit and I refuse to pay for something that I didn’t mess up!! It seems to me the new company thinks people are incompetent and that people like me won’t take them to court. Again, please look anywhere but HERE!!! And no, this is NOT a review just because I’m upset. This all has been too much living here for the last almost 3 years. I was trying to stay one more year so that I could buy a house, but it’s a no go for me."

"Save your money and time. The outside of the units of this complex are molded and full of mildew. The stairwells are filthy with years worth of filth. The stair rails are rusty as hell and all of the paint has been scraped off. It's such an eyesore. Very embarrassing place to live I tell ya. They lied for a year straight saying they were going to power wash the stairs and paint the rails. They haven't done it yet. They've closed the Dog Park, so there's poop all over the complex. They switch staff every few months. They are very unorganized."

"Roaches ALot of ROACHES DO NOT MOVE HERE Lawd I thank you for a roof ova my kids head but lawd the roaches here walking in the house wen u do they are every where I have never been so depressed in my life until moving her the first review I seen before moving here I should have listened bad horrible roach invested DO NOT MOVE HERE this apartments need to b shut down asap I can wait to move"

"They currently do not have any 1 bedrooms available for rent, at least through November. I know this because, before I even finished the word "bedroom", the woman in the leasing office cut me off quite abruptly to tell me that they didn't have anything available. If I were looking into these apartments for the future, from a customer service perspective, friendliness, and being personable, I would not rent here. Hopefully, the residents are treated with more kindness than how I felt I was treated as a prospective resident/property interest."
