"I recently moved here about a month ago and I've already encountered issues with this complex. CONS: First and foremost, I wish I had fully believed the warnings in the reviews. I disregarded the negative feedback, naively believing it wouldn't apply to me, but unfortunately, I was mistaken. In just one month of residency, all four of my tires were stolen, followed by another incident where four tires were taken from a different vehicle the next night. Shockingly, both the management and the police showed a lack of action. They failed even to communicate transparently with other residents about the incidents, but would rather focus their communications on trivial matters like office-hosted events, parking, and elevator repairs. The office states that there is a courtesy officer present but the supposed "courtesy officer," is always conspicuously absent on a daily basis. The management's failure to provide any reassurance regarding resident safety or to collaborate effectively with local authorities renders their efforts to address the issue. This begs the question: why am I being charged a monthly fee for services that are evidently not being provided? The gym here resembles a typical apartment gym, but unfortunately, it often feels more like a playground than a workout space. It's not uncommon to see kids running around and playing, which can be quite frustrating for those of us trying to focus on our fitness routines. PROS: On a positive note, the maintenance team is quite efficient. While I haven't needed to call them for any issues, I've noticed that they are diligent about cleaning and maintaining the property every morning. Their efforts are truly appreciated, especially considering the apparent shortcomings of the management team. It seems that ensuring the property looks presentable is the least they could do, given the circumstances. The majority of residents here maintain cleanliness in their units, but there are unfortunately some who do not prioritize cleanliness, and their units stand out noticeably. Despite this, the exterior of the building remains visually appealing, as do the interiors of most units. One of the major perks of this complex is its fantastic location. It offers proximity to everything one might need, although accessing the grocery store does require getting on the freeway. Overall, if management were to fulfill their responsibilities adequately, residents' experiences would undoubtedly improve significantly. At present, I find myself eagerly counting down the days until my lease is up, so I can relocate to a place that genuinely values its residents."
"I just wanna say Nantucket at Fannin station is a great apartment community to call home, first when I Toured I was welcomed with smiles and refreshments by the leasing office. Everyone was so pleasant to me from the leasing agents to the managers. I was even introduced to the Maintenance supervisor who kept the property running smoothly. The building is well kept and clean. They offered me a special I could not pass up. Overall I really enjoyed my experience with them and I’m be leasing with them. If you are wondering if you should tour them. My answer is yes."
"For as long as I’ve been here, any concerns that I may have had are always answered or solved by the office staff. I came here specifically to give Mr.Ali, the lead maintenance here a 10/10. I had an emergency with my washing machine. He came same day, in a timely manner, and was extremely professional. I’ve lived in two other places and never felt more like home."
"Lovely apartment minus the baby sink and the ancient stackable washer & dryer. I loved the view from my apartment, it got so much sun! I have no issues with the maintenance staff, they are wonderful. I don’t even particularly have issues with management inside the leasing office. I have a major issue with the fact that in less than six months, all four of my tires have been stolen TWICE. Management knows that newer models of Toyota and Honda are SPECIFICALLY targeted. MANAGEMENT ALSO KNOWS THAT THERE IS A HIGH PROBABILITY THESE INCIDENCES ARE INSIDE JOBS. The criminals live there or at least have access from residents that do. The first time my tires were stolen overnight, the second time, they were stolen at 1:15 in the afternoon!!!! ON CAMERA. WITH AUDIO. Therefore, it doesn’t matter where you park, when you park, or if it’s in full view of a camera. MY CAR WILL ALWAYS BE A TARGET. These criminals DO NOT CARE. Which causes anxiety and paranoia EVERY DAY. This is no way to live! I have seen no additional lights in the parking lot, no additional cameras, the only effort I’ve seen is one of the lazy courtesy officers circling the parking lot in the middle of the night. Well, what does that do for vehicles that are vandalized in the broad daylight on a Sunday!? Instead of accommodating me, they’ve offered me a “FREE GARAGE” that they don’t even have!! I want to be let out of my lease with no early termination fee! I know there’s nothing to be done about criminal activity, and a property management company cannot guarantee my safety… BUT WHAT YOU CAN DO, IS LET ME OUT OF MY LEASE WITH NO EARLY TERMINATION FEE. I’ve already had to pay deductibles to my insurance company and replace items that were stolen from my front door!"
"My experience has been blissful thus far. They staff has been very helpful and inviting. My place is gorgeous, and they have more Squar footage per dollar the the competition in the area. And the Olympic length pool is right up my alley. If you are looking for a spot, I definitely recommend Nantucket at Fannin. And ask for Monae, she is the best!"
