Our newly renovated one-, two- and three-bedroom homes are designed with Southern charm in mind. "I don’t have any complaints about my apartment. I’ve only been here for a month and this is 10 times better than where I came from so I cannot complain. I will say don’t have Amazon deliver packages to your door because my package was stolen in less than 30 minutes. Other than that I feel comfortable safe here. ."
"My friend just moved in and he loves it! I enjoy visiting him and my buddy and I play volleyball on their court while the kids play on the community playground. The staff is always friendly and they helped my buddy out alot throughout his tour and applying. I'd recommend living here!"
"If i could give 0 stars i would. I’ve had multiple water damages. Plugs don’t work. Maintenance doesn’t come for days. To top it all off I have one more month of having to stay here and I’ve been towed in less than 12 hours without warning. The front desk is rude and not understanding. Oh and before i forget, your packages will be stolen from the mail room so make sure not to order any larger items."
"KNOX at Westchase is the most mismanaged place of my residence I ever lived. Is absolutely an amazing how much just few people can destroy value and influence quality of leaving for others. There are MANY created issues supporting my statements. One of them is absolute mismanaged GARBAGE COLLECTIONS. All residence must sign Addendum discussing time of collection and potential fees if not applied. Since no one is enforcing what is signed, the residents are constantly exposed to pails of garbage of their neighbors. Since last collection for the week is on Thursday evening, if not lucky, you will be exposed to your neighbors garbage till Monday evening. Dirty collecting containers are allowed to stay on the hallways for 24/7 in absolute contrary to signed Addendum. Of course, hallways are full of stains !!! I was too embarrassed to EVER invite ANY guest to my apartment !!! This condition exists for over 2 YEARS: since the beginning of this service was forced on every tenant. I discussed that issue many times with office personnel resulting in presented outcome. _______________________________________________________ Second issue needed attention is LANDSCAPE !!! The overall image of the property is influence to VERY LARGE degree by absolute lack of ANY LOGICAL management of landscape company, enforcement of “some quality”, accountability for damages and complete lack of understanding how powerful and inexpensive is healthy, designed with property layout landscape. If compared to others in the area, this complex offers plenty of space to create much different experience of leaving by “placing” beautiful nature in so many originally planned areas. Instead, broken by careless, not supervised work, and not repaired for months sprinkle system, destroyed almost all what remained green. During hot TX summer and very limited amount of rain, having working sprinkle system was critical. Few little bushes trying to survive, eventually were destroyed. Of course, other aspects of keeping normal landscape like: eliminating the weeds, fertilizer, replacing what was destroyed, proper trimming, cleaning dead lives, … was not an option. Since my unit was facing the swimming pool with plenty of room for plants and fresh green grass, I was forced to watch at very depressing image (attached picture) in daily basis. 80 % of remaining green ground covering on the picture are the weeds with a lot of unpicked dog’s waste. ______________________________________________________ Next issue is lack of proper supervision of maintaining proper pH balance in pool water. There were occasions when not maintain properly was resulting in undesirable green water. If considerer bare ground and dying whatever green was left, this POOL AREA was a strong signature of the management of this community. ______________________________________________________ Another problem in this community is SAFETY. I heard gun shots in more than one occasions. I heard from others about breaking into the apartments. I was feeling unsafely or fear when approaching my car left in the parking areas. Why? Because the tenants were exposed very often to broken in cars, broken windows, stolen wheels, people sleeping in the cars. One of the reasons why this was possible, was very often broken mechanism in two gates to the community. Sometimes those gates were open for weeks. I am convinced that cost of needed repairs for so many times exceeded the replacement cost. At some pointe management stopped releasing stickers needed to be placed on tenant’s windshields (requirements when I was moving in), opening the opportunities for free parking for whoever desired. Allowing such condition is showing absolute lack of any concerns for tenants safety and their belongings. ________________________________________________________"
