Apartments at 1901 Richmond (Fat Property)

"I have to move from 1901 Richmond! These people are straight up crackheads with no home training! I wish the city would intervene because the front office can only accommodate so much! It’s like anarchy over here! You can’t renovate this place!! It’s not worth it because the trash that invade our space will just tear it down!! I see why “Cody” dedicates his time and money to his better properties!! It’s not worth the hassle or the money being invested here. It’s really depressing because this entire area is a million dollar real estate investment! It’s Montrose for Gods sake not Greenspoint! 25 years ago this property was actually pretty nice! Of course Texas was more conservative back then!! They need to just sell the property! You can’t help people who only want hand outs and freebies! I believe in second chances but some people just burn up all their bridges!! What’s even nutty is the fact the tenants talk trash about the land lord and front office staff but the tenants aren’t any better!! You move in your friends and family and they sell drugs and start fights on property ground!! These owners allowed crooks, thieves, felons and serious offenders to live here and that’s how y’all repay them by destroying private property and slandering their name! The homeless bust out all the windows to occupy a vacant unit! Sarah sends her team to fix the issue, a month later the same seedy group returns!! My upstairs neighbor is a menace, I asked him to politely to tone down the noise because I rather not have them fall thru my ceiling. He explains to me that would be a good thing because he needs a good law suit. I offered him a job!! This idiot tells me he wants to get a crazy Check instead! If you can operate a Trap house that’s an indication you're lucid and have strong cognitive abilities! Section 8 and Public housing definitely needs stricter guidelines! I work hard to pay my bills and they should too unless they have a mental or physical disability!! I have wrote emails to Sarah and she offered me a way out! I might just transfer out because there’s no silver lining here! I have been a good tenant!! I believe in peace and serenity!! By the way if the Landlord is reading this I did get the police involved several times but a few of the tenants threatened me! Called me a snitch and one of the friends of the tenant tried to attack me! The disgruntled friend would follow me to the mail box/bus stop and stare at me. From that point I left that drama alone, because I am in Texas and I am licensed to carry! I don’t want to shoot anyone for trying to cause bodily harm!!"

"My issue is the owners never come to the property yet they are able to manufacture these insidious elaborate rants in this review section!! I’ll challenge them to stay here for one month a they will not last! It’s always the landlords who live in luxury homes away from criminal elements and reality!! It doesn’t matter if people pay low rent or exorbitant prices they should be afforded the same treatment like anyone living in a $3500 dollar a month condo!! We have moaned and whined about safety, we complained about drug dealers and the fact two people were murdered on this property! Another issue is someone keeps calling the cops for no reason and these blue lives are making unnecessary trips for prank calls!! Landlords should make the unit safe and habitable for the Texas tenants as per the Texas Property Code. .. Comply with the Fair Housing Act. ... I am realize now they just like housing ex cons amongst each other which is a bad idea!! You can’t please everyone but to be dishonest and blatantly lie in these reviews is absolutely appalling!! The building needs to be renovated! Several people have moved out because of flooding,rats, roaches and their ceiling caved in! It’s been complaints from the police department and maintenance crew that the operations manager and owner doesn’t care!! You know it has to be awful when the police complain about a property they are constantly policing!! The city will eventually shut them down like they have done many outdated compounds! I do appreciate the fact they offer affordable rent with all bills paid but owners shouldn’t cheapskate on maintenance and sketchy repairs!! My friends who deals in real estate and housing said the same thing! The building needs to be condemned and torn down if they aren’t going to remove the vermin and update it! The tenants pretty much stated Star and Sarah have to be invested in these properties along with CODY who owns it! So they don’t care as long as the rent is paid! It’s really about greed! They don’t care about the tenants who are actually decent! Come by and clean up this property!!! Clean the swamp!! Some of these tenants are indecent and most of them are housing the homeless in the atrium areas and I have never seen management on property but once!!! I stopped having company because the the unauthorized occupants block the walkway!! I don’t like confrontation. I just asked the maintenance staff does anyone from fat property office live here! They said no!! Their homes are luxury and away from criminal elements!! If they tell they live in the area they are being disingenuous!! By the way some of the original tenants have left their homes vacant for months because they are so drugged out! So they are just getting free money from the city! Too many people in the area complain about this property an it’s embarrassing! Even the Sargent of Houston Police Department suggested security on the premises because obviously the cameras aren’t being utilized!! I lived in this area for over 20 years a this property use to be niceeeeeeeeeeeeeee!! Housing and section 8 messed it up! This property has potential but changes need to be made!!!"

"This is a small complex in a great area. Maintenance is quick to fix any problems. The bus line is literally 10 feet from the complex. These are studios with descent size bathrooms and large walk-in closets. Also, the management is on the ball when it comes to any issues you may have."

"Absolutely appalling, but if you don't have somewhere else to go? You'll still pay too much, your ceiling will cave in, the stairs to your apartment will disappear, and who knoooooows what else. Be careful!"
