"Initial review: Living here is like living in paradise. It feels like a community. Also, Norma and Chela, the apartment managers, are fantastic. It is clear how much they love and care for this place and it’s residents. Current review: Things have changed for the worse since we got new management. Prior to new management, the complex contained beautiful and healthy plants. However, this is no longer the case. The washing machines have also been working improperly for some time now. We've gotten many promises that things will be fixed but it is clear that this isn't true. The saving grace of the property are the wonderful neighbors."

"The place looks great. I lived here from 1978-81 in the first efficiency apartment to the left. It was called Southwinds back then. At least half the residents attended Berachah Church. Those were dark days for me, and I would never live in Houston again, I'm glad to see the baseball field is still there. I used to rent a key from the city parks department that turned on the lights, and my buddies and I would take night batting practice."

"I have lived at Majestic for the past 2 years and I honestly love it here. It is right off 59 and so close to everything you need. Because the complex is small, it is peaceful and quiet all the time. The grounds are always clean, I have never seen a roach, never have an issue with parking, and maintenance is always quick to fix any problems that I have(very few). The units are all updated and the walk in closet is about the size of the bedroom! The only downside to this place is that there are not washers and dryers in the units and the laundry area is very small. I will say that the machines are always clean and working! Other than that- this place is a hidden gem. 10/10 Definitely recommend"

"I lived here for 3 years, we went through 2 major floods during the time there. Before new management/ owners came the complex was nice, quite, easy, until recently (last few months of 2017 under new management) they have completely changed everything down from the business hours, Dropbox/ payment area (since there is still not website the tenants can use to pay rent/ makes it super inconvenient to pay rent anyone that is working an actual job can’t make it to the businesss office because the new business hours are 12-6). I have since moved out (with my 60 day notice/ signed paperwork/ payments/ cleanup/ everything that a normal person that has lived in a apt complex does prior to moving out. My last day was Dec 31, it is now January 24, I have yet to receive my deposit (have called/ texted numerous times/ have shown up twice ((office wasn’t staffed on the new hours of business when I came)) over the course of this month ONLY because my schedule is so busy... and was told they would get back to me....no email account is setup on their part yet and have yet to hear ANYTHING back about my deposit, they have not contacted and explained anything. Anyone that is looking to move here, dooooo not move here, I have been an amazing tenant and I understand there are kinks to workout when you go through a big change (like taking over a business) but in any relation : communication is key, and the management here does not do that! This place deserves zero stars, they deserve zero stars because I have lost time, energy, money, gas, patience and the list goes on! The only reason I put one star is because you have to in order to write review!"
