Cassano's Pizza King

"My family and I have been here for a couple years and we pass this place at least once a day. We finally decided to have lunch there and give them a chance. Let me start off by saying our server excellent but when we arrived at our seats that we were able to pick ourselves we had to dust off the chairs and the table of previous crumbs not knowing how long they have been there because it was only us and another couple in the restaurant at the time but for the price of the pizza and the size of it you wouldn't expect a watery vendor bought sauce and please don't give me started on the appetizers. We ordered a sampler platter and they couldn't even take the time to let the oil drip off our food before they plate it I could literally oil two pieces of bread and toast with the amount that was left on my plate. Maybe I'll give it another 3 months and go back and see if there's any difference. I was told of a pretty good sandwich there I'll have to try that but I don't think I'll be back for the pizza unless they are changes to the sauce or price."

"I ordered a 12” Big Vic’s Cheese and the person on the phone sounded more pre occupied with other employees than the order. The order was not read back and I was given a total. When I arrived the pizza wasn’t checked for accuracy. I paid and went home. When I got home the order was totally wrong and even the receipt that was shoved in the box reflected that. The pizza was also cold. When I called back to ask about another pizza the lady on the phone was rude. I know employees are overworked but there is no reason to get mad at me when it’s the restaurants mess up."

"It had been several years since I've been to Hannibal. I used to come here very frequently while traveling this way for work. It was a great visit! We ordered personal pizzas and an order of onion rings. The pizzas were made fresh and were slightly different than I remembered. The crust was a bit thicker than it used to be, although not bad. I would've rather had the thinner crust. I would skip the onion rings next time. Even though they are the batter (not bread crumb) covered as we prefer, these were heavily soaked in grease and had no flavor. They could sure use some seasoning. We would return without hesitation, but we would order a regular shareable pizza to get the thin, cracker crust instead. Great service with a smile. All the folks were very pleasant, just as I remembered!"

"I asked on the phone what the price was and how many wings were in an order. I was told 6, so I asked “I assume that’s whole wing sections” for $14. Needless to say this is what you get for $14. Hopefully this helps the next person who is trying to order wings."

"A great stop if you find yourself in Hannibal, Mo. Some of the best pizza in the state! I was so excited to get my favorite pizza (Vic's no olives) that I forgot to snap a picture before it was too late. Friendly staff and clean restaurant."
