"I have lived at Tuscany for two years, and I have never had any problems of security, the area is very safe, and the neighbors are very friendly. I had a couple of problems with roaches, but I always call to get it sprayed and they always came on time. You must pay your rent through an app that charges you three or four dollars every month which is ridiculous but that’s how it is. They send you two different bills one for rent, and another one for electricity and bills so this means you have to pay two times that extra fee of four dollars, so it’s a total of eight per month which is 96 a year. Trash Valet works fine, halls are usually with leaves but that’s ok. Also, the rent comes with Xfinity and you cannot change it even if you ask to remove it they said it comes with the rent. Xfinity sucks just so you know."
"Please listen to the reviews and do not move here!! I read the reviews but figured it would be fine and moved in anyways. The manager/ receptionist here is incompetent and has never been able to give us correct answers or solve a single issue. The appliances are awful and break all of the time. When I did the apartment tour I thought that the counters/ shower was nice because they were white. They just paint over it with white paint!! They didn’t seal anything correctly and now I can’t put anything on my counters or shower without it sticking and getting surety (and you can’t clean it). The quality of everything here is terrible. Maintenance does not know what they are doing and I have had to fix everything that has broken myself. I promise the price is not worth the hassle here, find another apartment. I don’t like to give bad reviews but I just feel like I need to warn people and wish I would have listened to the other reviews."
"Wow so impressed with my experience moving in. Exceptional service from the Manager Xiomara! Love my apartment. Thank you so much for all you do. I highly recommend Tuscany Lane."
"You get what you pay for. The apartments are just old and not well maintained. I've lived here a year, and the good things are, no bugs, and it feels safe. However, my ac has been broken since we moved in, and 20 maintenance requests and multiple $250 electricity bills later, it still hasn't been fixed. We have the smallest unit, and I have NEVER had bills so high before in my life. The apartments are not insulated at all. So during the hot days it's horribly hot, and we can't even think about using our den during the winter because it's too cold. No one keeps the grounds maintained and free from trash. It's a struggle to get things fixed. The washers, dryers, refrigerators, and even the bath tub are old and need to be replaced. The refrigerator has rust spots they paint over. Low quality appliances overall. Cabinets old and cheaply polished over. The tiles on the floor don't even go to the walls, so you have 1-inch large gaps that just collect debris. Pool closed by the city of Houston all summer with a big red Do Not Enter sign. At first, they said because of covid, they were having trouble fixing things, I guess that is still the case... I expect more for the area and will not renew my lease. It could be worse, but try and find some place better. O, and parking sucks and the garages don't make it better."
"I live in tuscany lane apartment for almost 2 years and i would like to give a big compliment to ALEX ORTEGA, the General office manager. He is a good listener, he’s very responsible and polite person. He cares about tenant’s request & problems and he follows up with you until solving the issue. I really appreciated of Alex. He is the best and to me he really deserve his position."
