"I came here because I wanted to try a coffee shop outside of Peoria and the Heights. I must say this is one of the best shops I've been to. They have so many flavor shot options. I didn't expect that in a small town like this. Also, the barista Brad was super kind, helpful and made a great latte!"

"Saturday morning, two other customers in the entire place and the guy behind the counter could not be bothered. No, "Hi, Good morning," or "Welcome." No ingredients to make a basic chocolate shake, no ingredients for a latte, and the regular coffee is tasteless hot water. If you are stopping for coffee, go to Casey's or some other place."

"Review Date: August 26th, 2015 Located in Lacon, IL, The Coffee Hub is a fantastic little coffeehouse in a little town. Between some pretty good coffee and a delicious-looking menu written in and on a unique backing, this place is a gem. I got my usual Iced Caramel Latte and is was good. The staff was friendly. I wanted to sample more of their menu, but I was headed to Matthiessen State Park, so I had already eaten a decent meal before heading out. I would love to go back some day and try their ice cream and baked goods! :3"

"Fantastic coffee shop - didn't expect to find such a great place in a little town. Wide selection of coffees, specialty drinks, sandwiches, pie, other pastries, fudge and ice cream are available, plus a big selection of bottled sodas. Local artwork is displayed, and for sale at good prices. Tried the seasonal "mint frost" latte, for March and enjoyed it along with the good ambiance and the large seating area - comprised of tables and chairs up front, sofas in the back."

"I go to this spot about twice a month during my work trips to Peoria and I'm always very happy with the service and the coffee. It's always tidy and welcoming. They have old fashioned sodas and root beers you can buy. Great small town coffee shop that is worth a visit."
