"It is what it is, a smalltown bar/ restaurant serving folks on paper plates, but OMG... don't let the humble atmosphere fool you ..the chicken is AMAZING!! Well worth the wait (and the wait comes with cracklins, so how can you beat that? )! You can order light or dark quarters, or light, dark, or mixed half orders. We've been out this way on a Friday, and the fish fry was just as excellent as the chicken. They are reasonably priced, and the food is delicious. Be sure to try the spicy honey sauce! Oh, and the chicken fingers (which are like half breast cutlets) ... my kids loved them! People are very nice as well."

"Stopped by for lunch. Last time I was here was in mid 90’s for dinner. Great experience back then. Today, I had the chicken strips and fries (lunch menu only). Chicken strips were excellent. Lightly battered and well seasoned. Better than C@nes, Ch!k Fila, and P0p3y3s. These were 4.5 stars. Gave it three stars overall because the fries were too salty and had been sitting for a while. Going to come back for dinner soon!"
