"I've been shopping Best Buy in Peoria, IL for years for computers, laptops, cameras and tons of accessories. We stopped in a few days ago to buy another camera. The sales associate was beyond rude. I asked to look at the camera box so I understood what I was buying. I was allowed to look at the box for SECONDS before the box was snatched from my hands. I was told I was "lucky" to get to hold the box because they normally don't allow anyone to touch the merchandise. LUCKY?! I said "I'm not trying to steal it. I wanted to see the information on the camera". He crossed his arms, gave me an angry stare and refused to answer any questions I had about the camera or accessories. Definitely not a good customer service representative. After we paid for my camera I stopped and spoke with the Manager. His concern was maybe a level 2 of 10. As we were walking away, he said he'd talk with the person as he offered an eye rolling smile. I believe the Peoria, IL Best Buy has made a dramatic decline in customer service and lack appreciation for their customers. I rarely write negative reviews because everyone has bad days but this apparently is their new normal. With so much online competition for the same price or less, I can't understand staff who blatantly push good customers away."

"Went in there at 4:00pm to get advice on and purchase a security system for my car. After 30 minutes of waiting after asking for help and no one showing up I decided to take my business somewhere else. When I got home I called Supreme Auto Sound and got what I needed in 5 minutes. If you need assistance don't bother with Best Buy they are a total time waster."

"Seems not as many workers I was looking for help nobody around. Noticed not many workers for an Fri and 3 days before Christmas. Their also was no need as nobody shops anymore. Don't buy at local shops. Just Don't cry when all stores leave and no jobs. If you gotta order online i get it but don't if you can #buylocalstore Help your community not corporations."

"The Wed before black Friday I went into best buy to see what televisions would be on sale. To my surprise they were already at black Friday prices. I need to know the width of the legs of the tv to make sure it would work of the table I would be setting it. An associate looked it up for my, carried it to check out, and after I pulled my car to the door he carried it and put it in my car. Now that is great service. Thank you for making my day."
