"Fire alarm goes off at 2:30am throughout the apartment. than another at 3:15am. Wth is this apartment doing.? This isn't the first time they had issues with fire alarm! Can't sleep and got work tomorrow, hear baby crying outside and can't sleep seriously? Plus apartment's parking garage is managed by a towing company and not the mamagement; meaning your car will get towed without warning when your cars parked even for few minutes at the mail box, Amazon pick up or near your apartment! Worst apartment experience! And worst off, only apartment I've tried that felt like there's no insulation; meaning it feels humid and hot other than cold days, which is about 90% of the weather here in Houston! AC runs nonstop during summer and heater runs nonstop in winter! And neighbors... Sounds like the having party even past midnight! Had to contact security multiple times! With its price, just pay a bit more and you will be and feel much safer!"
"!!! WARNING !!! MUST READ I usually don’t care about putting reviews on theses things but theses apartments I’ve got to , the breakins are really consistent here like really bad as of lately and tires are always being taken. The elevators are always down and the water will randomly shut off , Good location if anything but you decide if the risk is worth the reward"
"Lived here for 2 lease terms (15 and 14 months). At first this place was great and then it got sold and management changed hands a few times. The most current management, Highmark Residential, admittedly had a huge mess to clean up after RPM. However, there are still things that are absolutely inexcusable. They require a 60 day notice at the end of lease if not wanting to re-sign. I had to call multiple times and had to go in to the office stating I was approaching the 60 days and had not received a new lease to look over. They increased the base rent reasonably but increased the amenity fees quite a bit. As other reviews have mentioned, they decreased access to said amenities such as the club house only being available during business hours and the pools would be locked randomly for unknown reasons or advanced notice. There was an incident of a man exposing himself at the gym so I no longer felt comfortable going. The parking garage had multiple occurrences of mass break-ins and tires being stolen. I found drug bags in the garage on multiple occasions along with someone's dirty underwear. The trash would pile up at the dumpsters and I would get hit in the face with the stench upon driving in. You pay $30+ for valet trash to pick up every night but that was always hit or miss. During my last three months of living here, we were inconvenienced on 4 occasions for the fire alarm inspection and "maintenance" that would take days to complete (IF they actually came, and we would have to lock our pets up so they could enter each unit). Twice the fire alarms went off due to RAIN even after "maintenance" had been completed.. The first occurrence began at 7:30 AM and went on for over 2 hours .. All residences received was an email "sorry for the inconvenience" and then the following week another inspection or maintenance occurred. This made it impossible for people to get to work on time including those who work from home. Most of the office staff are incredibly rude and will give you different answers to your questions depending on who you talk to. When Highmark first came in, the upper middle aged woman at the front desk introduced herself as the assistant property manager which she is not. The actual assistant property manager, Angela, was pretty nice who I did a walk through my unit when turning in my keys because of my own lack of trust for this apartment complex. When walking through she ensured that the place looked clean and there would be no charges for cleaning or damages. IT HAS BEEN WELL OVER 30 DAYS AND I HAVE YET TO RECEIVE THE REMAINDER OF MY SECURITY DEPOSIT. i have emailed the assistant property manager about this without response. When I have called the office twice about this, they state she is not in the office and to try again the next day. Legally, they are required within 30 days to provide an itemized statement of any charges taken out of my deposit which they have not done despite the fact that I have provided my forwarding address. If there were to be any charges such as water, I would have no way of paying online as they stopped my access to the online portal as soon as my lease was over. Also, the second time I signed my lease I was charged a second security deposit which I later discovered is out of the ordinary and I feel as though they took an advantage of me because I am younger and this was my first apartment to lease on my own. I was also overcharged for pet rent and I brought this up multiple times (again, before Highmark) and was told they would credit my account which never occurred. The place is "pet friendly", however the dog park was never clean as no one picked up after their dogs. You could not walk through the park without stepping in feces. They would also go months without refilling the dog waste bags. The unit themselves were pretty nice and I once enjoyed the pools when they were managed well. The location was great and neighbors were friendly but you could not pay me to move back."
"Excellent customer service from Janet and Adriana, very friendly and always willing to help with any doubts or questions. I have been living here for a year now and Janet made the move in process go easy and smooth. After a year I had some questions and Adriana was very helpful and explained all new things. If you’re are planning to visit this complex, always ask for them."
"On Saturday evening, I parked on the 3rd floor to drop my premie grandson off to my daughter. I left my hazards on as I wanted to keep him out of the cold, but I needed to get the rest of his stuff after. After getting him settled inside, I went back out to find my car gone. I immediately called Oasis Wreaker service at 7:50 p.m., and they said it had been taken to the storage lot 20 minutes before. I knew that could not have been true, but I got the number of the storage place so I could pick up my car. When I called the storage lot, I was told they had no record of my car. I called the wreaker company back and was told that they had dropped it off, that the storage lot must not have put it into the system as they probably had lots of cars being brought in. I called the wreaker service. I called the storage lot back and asked about how long it takes them to enter a vehicle when it is towed. The storage lady said that they get the information from the tow company when they are on their way in. So, I called the towing company a 3rd time, and after telling the guy what the storage lot had told me, he changed his story and said that the tow truck was at the storage lot and my vehicle should show up in their system. As you can see from the photos and video, my car was dropped off at 8:30 pm with my harzards on. My daughter's boyfriend has reached out to the apartment community, and they have not given any response. Today, I spoke with my daughter and found out they have been without water for over 36 hours. She is having to boil water to give my infant grandson a bath because maintenance has not shown up to find the problem. This is not a good community to live in."
