I gave rave reviews on this particular store when I moved back here 3 years ago...it was so clean, organized, uncluttered and the staff were A-1...Now, I'm dreading going there. I've noticed management has changed several times and each time the store worsens. I used to work for the Coal Valley $ General store as an assistant manager back in 2000 and was responsible for being a temp manager to open the Milan store when it was just getting started....so I have an idea of how things used to get done and we never ever looked as poorly or treated our customers with such indifference as I've noticed as of late...PLEASE SAVE OUR CV $ GENERAL....Get some decent management!"
"Customer service is a joke here. The workers can't hold a smile on their face let alone say hi or offer help. Every worker there looks miserable and it shows, definitely not a friendly environment. You can walk around for hours trying to find something and they still would not offer to help."
