"I've been living at Broadstone Vintage Park for a little over a year now and absolutely love it. We've had some recent staff changes but I personally have had no issues. The staff here is always so kind, attentive, and willing to work with you when problems do arise. I've always had my questions answered and the team has been so helpful to me. I've had great experiences with the maintenance team, they are always attentive and super nice. The location is prime. There are several walking trails and parks that easily accessible right behind the community. H-E-B, target, and Vintage Park are minutes away. I am truly grateful to be call this my home."
"TL;DR - Don't waste your money, look elsewhere! I moved in right when they opened so feel I can give a thorough review. Back then it was 5/5 stars, but each year since it has gotten worse – with the last year being a huge downgrade. I wanted to leave when my last lease ended but there were no available units around my move-out date so I was forced to renew here. When it was the original management and office team, they answered calls/emails immediately, community rules were enforced, they had actual events, and overall tried to make it a good place to live. Outside the maintenance team (which they have mostly kept since opening and are still 5/5), the rest of the current staff are horrible. - No one answers calls or emails, it feels like half the time you go in person during office hours no one is inside. If you sort by the most recent reviews, you will see a lot of people complain about the same thing. - Bugs and trash. There was a period a few months ago where there were roaches, wasps, and all types of bugs everywhere. They finally started doing something about it but it took too long to act. Also, trash doesn’t pick up Fri-Sat, the old office stressed that repeatedly so people wouldn’t leave trash out. But now people leave bins out from Friday morning to Sunday night and it stinks. Might be the cause for the bugs loving it here. - Parking. When I first moved in, I would always get the first spot by my apartment. Now, if you get home after 5pm – you aren’t parking by your building. I don’t know if they enforce towing because I’ve seen run-down cars with flat tires sitting for weeks in resident spots. - One of the reasons I moved there was because they are a smoke-free community. The first management group enforced this, but these people just let it go. I can’t open my windows without smelling smoke. Sometimes I come home, and I smell it in my unit. Smokers don’t even hide it; they smoke on their balconies and management doesn’t care. - Events. The original office had proper events – catered brunches, poolside movies, etc. Now they have a cheap snack table in the office once and a while and overpriced food trucks. AND they decided to add a $10 amenity fee this year on top of the usual rent increase. Where does that $10 go to?!? - Staff. I already mentioned the staff is not great, but they are typical salespeople. I’ve seen them act so friendly to potential customers and immediately flip when talking to residents trapped in their leases. During one of my last trips to the office, I was third in line. The leasing person was being so friendly to someone getting a tour, right after she went up to the second person in line (an old man who was trying to be polite) and got snappy with him immediately because he said he’s been trying to get help with a request for days and no one answers. I was also there because no one was answering my email or calls. I get you need to be extra nice to potential customers, but residents are your current customers (and why many of us don’t renew). Fast forward to now. I finally broke my lease ~5 months early for personal reasons (they also didn’t make that process easy). Now I’m waiting for the final bill or deposit refund and they have not been helpful at all. Now that I’m no longer a resident I’m basically trash in their eyes. They don’t answer their phone, don’t respond to voicemails, and when they do reply to my emails they just redirect me to corporate with a canned reply (a corporate number that hasn't answered or replied to my voicemail after 4 days of trying). After back and forth asking for more info or help, their last reply was that I'm no longer a resident and they can't help me. Since they aren't getting any more money from me, they don't care. Overall, don’t waste your time here. The apartments are nice but the price, amenities, and staff are not worth it. I’d rather save a few hundred and lease at one of the older complexes nearby. I lived at San Antigua around the corner for a couple of years and that was 5/5 the whole time there."
"I wanted to give this complex a better rating but I cannot. This is my second renewal here and will be my last. I have had issues with this complex conducting shady business, changing payment methods last minute, and not being professional. I have received balances due that were previously paid and unknown charges that could not be explained. The charges were removed but a late fee was applied and stated that I had to pay. After a while, I was able to get it removed, but it was a major inconvenience. The complex was bought out by another company and changed the online portal payment method last minute. Rent due was unclear as there was no way to check how much was owed. They could’ve handled the transition in a much better manner. Furthermore, trying to get in contact with someone at the office via phone is almost impossible. They rarely return any calls even after leaving a voicemail. I recommend going to the office in person but once again, that is an inconvenience to most. Overall, the units are nice as well as the amenities, but I would not sign a lease here again with the issues that I’m having and other people are having as well."
"I just signed my 3rd lease to continue living in this apartment complex. The reasons for my stay are as follows: The office staff are very professional and willing to take time to answer any questions that I and others have. The maintenance department stays busy maintaining the needs of the residents. The landscaping needs are kept up during seasonal changes. The pool area always looks nice and pleasant to enjoy. Security is on site in the case of need. I am 68 years old and feel very comfortable with my stay at the Broadstone Vintage Park."
"Just started to try and scam us by switching to a check based system. You cant pay electronic and autopay is disabled. Less than a week before payments are due as well. You have to drop it off during office hours too. What an annoyance, and my bets are they are looking to collect on late payment fees. Aside from that, the grills don’t work, and they haven’t for quite some time, so there is obviously no intention to fix them. They have a turf field in the back that’s littered with sharp rocks, so there isn’t a way to enjoy it. Just lazy upkeep on the place, and then shady business choices on top of it. I’ll post pictures later. Avoid this place!"
