"Good experience so far. Security on site and things are being cleaned up. There was an issue with dog poop when I first moved in but that has not been an issue as they have built in bag locations. Elevators and halls are always clean. Communication between staff and residents has been the best I’ve ever had."

"I agree with the previous reviewers who posted negative reviews. I had to leave and moved out somewhere else because the place is filthy, dog poop everywhere littering the hallway, carpet smells like urine. We were promised a laundry facility on site, and it's been more than 6 months, and I still had to go to laundromat to get my laundry done. They had a wonderful security guard and he quit and the replacement is always asleep on his job! I am not sure how they pass inspections and all, but this place is not what they promised you to be. Don't be hooked and get stuck. And they start charging for utilities beginning January 2024, even thought this place was advertised as all utilities included. What happened to the lovely cafe that was promised on the lobby? NONE."

"At first glance, Teak seemed like a really cool place to live. The building is tall, conveniently located, and has some character due to its former life as a hotel. After a few weeks of living here, the many shortcomings of being a Teak resident revealed themselves. I knew to expect some construction and renovation, but what they don't tell you before you sign the lease is that your unit will be a "temporary" one with none of the advertised amenities. After signing the lease, I was made to sign a lease addendum which locked me into my hotel room until such time as a permanent unit becomes available. The temporary units are just gutted hotel rooms, so don't expect to have a kitchen. The A/C, plumbing, and electrical in the building all have constant issues. It's not uncommon to wake up and start getting ready for work, only to find that I have no running water in my unit to take a shower. The A/C being off for multiple days in the summer leading to indoor temps in the mid-80s and the elevators being out of service due to a power outage caused by crumbling infrastructure are other things you can look forward to if you plan to live here. Another issue is that the building allows pets, but doesn't regulate them well enough so the elevators always smell like pee and there is poop all over the grounds. This place beats being homeless but if you have other options, I would encourage you to explore them."
