"This is NOT your ordinary hotel restuarant! You can tell that the locals come here for a nice night out. The menu selection was amazing. I had to debate between 4 options that all looked perfect. I ended up getting mussels because I had eaten a late lunch and didn't not want to do justice to the larger meals. The mussels and wine/cream sauce were delicious. The prices were also NOT typical hotel restaurant upcharge prices. Really enjoyed this experience."

"Great food, great service and overall a great place to gather. And the Axis hotel is amazing! The rooms are comfortable, spacious and well thought out. The staff both in the restaurant and the hotel are the best. They truly care that their guest have an amazing experience."

"My girlfriend got the meatloaf and I had the blackened tuna. Both were delicious. The goat cheese terrine was excellent and I would go back for that alone. We also got a cup of French onion soup and it was good. Great service from Jen and Caitlin! I can't wait to go back! Also the berry lemon drop martini and the Syndicate Old Fashioned were great"

"Food was very good. 20 oz bone in ribeye was cooked perfectly. Live music the night I was there. Good cold local beer. Overall great local place and a lil nicer that your normal hole in the wall."

"The Syndicate is a great dining option in Moline and the Quad Cities area. The restaurant is situated in the Axis Hotel, which is itself situated in a building built in the 1920s. It honors this heritage by oozing a sleek, modern Art Deco atmosphere with flair and pizazz. Our server Nate was great too - he was very attentive and constantly checked on our table to make sure we all were doing OK. Lastly, the food is delicious! Full of flavor and presented with the same flair that lives within the building, there's a lot going on within the menu. My only slight complaint is that my mashed potatoes did have some cold spots, but this is a very minor complaint, and in my mind, it is not enough to reduce this review down to 4 stars. If you're looking for classy dining with a bit of panache, look no further."
