"Came in for an 830 appt. I was looking for a trustworthy "hometown" mechanic. Their mechanic I had spoken to previously was sick, so I was relaying the issues to the girl at the front desk, while the owner and another mechanic listened from the other room. They didn't bother to come out and talk with me, instead, making a remark about my changing a part before they took the car. I said to the owner, "I'm looking for a TRUSTWORTHY mechanic" and he replied, "I don't want your business, leave". Not the version of "hometown" I was hoping to find."
