Dino's Pizza & Steakhouse

"We had a wonderful lunch today! We shared a large Dino's special and it was absolutely delicious. The waitress was great and even let our daughter take home some coloring pages. We will definitely be back!"

"I normally try to only post positive reviews but the experience we just had at Dino's is worth sharing in my opinion. My boyfriend and I went for supper, I ordered a burger and he ordered a medium house special pizza. We got our food and started eating. My boyfriend ate 4 or 5 pieces of his square cut pizza when he realized that they had given him a Dino's special and not the house special. He told the waitress and she said "I totally spaced that I am so sorry" she walked into the kitchen area and shortly after a guy came out and asked if we wanted him to make us a house special and if we wanted to keep the one we had. We told him we didn't want the incorrect one that they could just toss it. He said he would make us the correct one to go. So I finished eating and he came back out and told us it would be about 10 minutes, we thanked him and said okay. After about 5 minutes the waitress brought me the bill. I grabbed my card and was ready to pay when I looked at the bill and seen that they had charged us for two pizzas.. I walked up to the counter and said "maybe I'm confused cause we are being charged for two pizzas" the guy who told us he was making us the correct one said "you guys said you wanted this one too" I explained that yes we wanted the correct one the first time. He pointed at my boyfriend in the booth and said "he ate half the other one" I was shocked and stood there for a moment when he said to me "what do you want me to do?" I said in a firm and a slightly and I mean slightly increased volume "you can keep the one you have and we won't be back!" He looked me in the eye and said "Yeah, please don't come back!" WOW! Just wow is really the only thing I can say. There idea of good customer service is to charge a customer for their mess ups? I never used profanity or insulted them at any point. I simply was baffled by the fact that I was being charged for two pizzas and then when I spoke up about it he told me to not come back! I have worked in the food service industry and customer service industry and this is a perfect example of TERRIBLE SERVICE! Save your money for somewhere else! We weren't looking for free food. We were just wanting what we ordered."

"Got a medium cheese pizza with Italian sausage for 15.78 I also tried the cheese curds. The cheese curds are worth trying. I believe they only make thin crust pizzas, the cheese was very tasty and pizza sauce was good. Not too much not too little. It felt just right. For a local pizza spot in the heart of Washington Iowa I think price is fair!"

"Service was fast and friendly. My husband and I got pizza. I got the veggie pizza. It was really good. The crust was thin and crispy, just the way I like it! Will definitely be back to try other items on the menu."

"Dinos, a place where old time friends come to meet. A place where my mom’s happiest birthdays took place. A place where I can get a tasty and authentic pizza! I take everyone I want to impress here! I spent most my Friday nights here eating their spaghetti as a kid. The servers are always so friendly and welcoming! It’s was always so awesome for the kids to sit on the bench and watch old Dino make his pizza. Still to this day you can watch your pizza being tossed and flipped around in the air. This place has tradition and a strong sense of family even after the original family left that sense of community stays true! There isn’t a better pizza around. Homemade and delicious. Plenty of options for kids! Just a great place to go out and get a meal and sit down with the family away from the world!"
