Green Tree Brewery

"Located in downtown LeClaire Iowa along the Mississippi,this brewery makes their own beer on site. You can sit inside or outside and enjoy the views of the Mississippi . We visited on a Sunday afternoon and it was pretty empty. You seat yourself and order your drinks yourself as well. The place was lacking that comfort feel. Maybe music would help. We sat inside since it was very warm outside but the inside was loaded with flies..must be the time of year . I tried their Pitter Patter lager with was very light but refreshing. Only 4.8 ABV. My wife had their Bloody Mary special which was very good and served with lots of condiments. There were no food options available . They do sell crowlers to go."

"Great spot with an outdoor patio and view of the Mississippi from the patio and inside. The Sand Cheeks wheat beer was fair. The rating came from the amount inside. I was continually swatting flies. I do get flies happen. But I drank my beer fast to get out. Pint was $7 it’s definitely a $5 beer."

"The location alone would get this place at least four stars. Drinking any kind of beer near the river would be amazing. Thankfully, Green Tree has a number of excellent beers on tap which makes the experience even more enjoyable. Service is fast and friendly, prices are reasonable. There's plenty of space to spread out. Highly recommend trying a flight or two of beers."

"Excellent Brewery in a picturesque setting along the Mississippi River in LeClaire,Iowa. We actually came to town on a whim to see Antique Archeology from American Pickers. I checked out best craft beer nearby… and you guessed it… we found Green Tree!!! I sampled Hop Along IPA … very good beer. Great atmosphere… friendly staff and cool views. Cool popcorn too in the old movie theater boxes. So impressed… I bought a t shirt too!!! This place is definitely worth the stop."
